Cora Novoa is an electronic music composer and Dj living in Berlin, where she develops her passion for both musical software and hardware. Her music blends together feeling-fueled melodies with poweful basses and synthesizers in full armony with her voice. Cora draws from different electronic music genres such as Techno, Trance or House, perfectly combined to achieve a very personal and unique sound, easily recognizable within her own productions.
The quality of her compositions quickly turned her into one of the most representative artists from the Natura Sonoris label, owned by Henry Saiz. Besides publishing in labels like Perspectiv or Hivern and being selected for the last Dj Tiësto CD mix, Cora has played in many of Spain’s most important clubs and festivals (Klubbers, Macumba, Fabrik...) and has been booked to perform abroad (Germany, France, Turky, Greece...).
Thanks to her overwhelming energy on stage, Cora has turned her “live” into her best résumé, adding passionate followers in every session, who look forward to everything this professional born in Ourense 24 years ago has to offer in every show and new productions. [Written by Zenbooking]
Cora Novoa es una compositora de música electrónica y Dj afincada en Berlin, ciudad en la que desarrolla su pasión por el software y hardware musical. Su música, mezcla melodías cargadas de sentimiento, con potentes bases y sintetizadores en plena harmonía con su voz. Cora bebe de diferentes estilos musicales como el Techno, Trance o House, que combina perfectamente para obtener un sonido muy personal y característico, fácilmente reconocible en sus producciones.
La calidad de sus composiciones la ha llevado rápidamente a convertirse en uno de los estandartes del sello Natura Sonoris, propiedad de Henry Saiz, y a editar en sellos como Perspectiv e Hivern, o a ser incluida en el ultimo cd mix de Tiësto, así como a tocar en varios de los clubs y festivales más importantes del panorama nacional (Klubbers, Macumba, Fabrik….), y a tener peticiones fuera de nuestras fronteras (Alemania, Francia, Turquía, Grecia…).
Con una energía arrolladora en el escenario, Cora ha conseguido que su “live” sea su mejor carta de presentación, y consigue sumar, actuación tras actuación, seguidores fervientes de todo lo que esta profesional nacida en Orense hace 24 años, ofrece en cada uno de sus shows o nuevas producciones. Productos BMM presents: BMM 33 Tantrum Light LSD Island EP with the remixes of Paul Hunter, Da Trash & Zimaleto Genre: Minimal, Techno, Tech-House. Some comments: Carsten Rausch: The Da Trash Remix is a cool piece of percussive Techno. I will definetely play that. Dave James: Yeh I like the original trippy vocals. Galuszka: Tantrum Light offers a track that is straight up techno. The mood of the original mix is very Terminator 2 (Judgment Day) in its vocal work and sound choice. The remixes of this project ad funk, especially the Da Trash remix with it's rolling quality. Bodgan Taran: I just love the melody on Zimaleto remix of LSD Island. The Reddman: I listened all the remixes and was very impressed! I have to say I just loved the Paul Hunter remix of the LSD Island track. There was something about it that just kept the groove going for me. Moog Conspiracy (Elektrotribe / Buena Onda): I ll play Tantrum light - Da Trash remix. Marc Fuccio (Fresh DJS): Favoutite mix is Paul Hunter remix. Wicked groove of a bass line that instantly got me to my feet. Great production and construction.
