Formed by January 2007 in Missoula, Montana, Walking Corpse Syndrome draws from various elements of rock, folk, goth, industrial, death, metal, and hardcore to create songs that sound uniquely familiar but sinister, heavy, and mostly danceable. The primary influences on the band include Nirvana, Slipknot, Rammstein, Hatebreed, Tool, Obituary, and various local bands.
Incorporating a non-traditional line-up, the band includes two drummers (Nocktis and Mr. Grimm), bass/violin (Prof. William Sludge), guitar (Matthew Bile), and vocals (Michael Phlegm). The band is best known for an energetic live show and unique hand crafted outfits.
The debut album, Forsaken, was recorded over the course of three days and release June 2008. The follow up album is expected early 2010.

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.

There will still be a Zombie Walk October 25th @ 7:00 PM at Friendship Square in Downtown Moscow the walk will begin @ 7:30 Please bring a boxed or canned food item for The Idaho Food Bank, or a supply item for The Palouse Humane Society-which is Bleach,laundry soap,dog collars,dog or cat toys,blankets, towells,or dog treats! Dont forget our local Humane Society is a no kill shelter and needs items to keep animals comfy! And The Economy hasnt been to kind either, so many families in need, and children in need are depending on a food item to be donated! Thankyou for accepting my request! I am so excited about this whole ordeal! I cannot believe how much immediate support and excitement I have recieved from the community!We will be having rehersal on October 24th-we will be performing the 25th- we have no idea where we will be practicing as of yet- we have no idea how many people will be attending the event- by the 10th we should have a ruff esitmate.
Imagine several people dressed as the undead performing Thriller in Downtown Mosocw! Last year over 4000 people performed this number on the same day and time around the world, this year we hope to break the record!If you look at a bulletin I posted you will be able to see the video of how to learn the dance-just so you can get the basic idea of what we will be teaching everyone the 24th!
