About Walking Corpse Syndrome

Walking Corpse Syndrome has been at the forefront of the Aggressive Darkwave movement sweeping the Northern Rockies. The six piece band incorporates goth, hardcore, metal, industrial, and grunge to create a darkly energetic style of intense music.

The current lineup of Walking Corpse Syndrome first played in November 2007. The six members include:
• Michael Phlegm – Vocals – Former male stripper and model, Survivor of car crashes, Break dancer.
• Matthew Bile – Guitar – English Lit. Graduate, Fashion designer, Charts & graphs, City design.
• Professor William Sludge – Bass & Violin – Music/film/literature savant, Former W.O.W. master, Food and Drink connoisseur.
• DJ Erastaroth – Synths – Industrial Music DJ on radio station KBGA, DJ at Club Dark Dreams, Reformed hitchhiker.
• Nocktis – Drums – Web programmer, Video game master, Lover of horror movies, Brother to Mr. Grimm.
• Mr. Grimm – Drums & Vocals – Prison Guard, Video game master, Former Munitions Specialist, Brother to Nocktis.

Walking Corpse Syndrome has played at Montana Metalfests II and III; opened for regional and national heavyweights Martriden, Ikonoklast, Two Headed Chang, Separation of Self, Darque Carnival, Ruckus, and Six; and the Fall 2008 showcase for Project Independent. The debut album “Forsaken” was independently released June 2008. Several months of regional touring ended September 2008.
