Almost Tomorrow is the third full length collaboration album from Section 27 Netlabel founders Tam Ferrans and Andrew Paterson, under their Nonima & theAudiologist guise. This time around the sound is more melodic, and has a definite feeling of a complete and more mature sound than heard on the previous LP's "Dystopian Battle Hymns" and "Ceremony After Amputation". If you are familiar with their individual projects you may even be in for a slight surprise, as the tracks are not as beat driven like before, but are more atmospheric and sound, well... "bigger". In its 75 minutes, Almost Tomorrow takes you on a trip from the digital rain-soaked cavernous scraping in "Thoughtograph", the ethereal beat jittering of "The Colour of Rain", intercepted transmissions from unknown places in "Com-Intercept", "Ganzfeld"s huge yet strangely insect-like beats until everything you knew comes crashing around you in "Almost Tomorrow". Burning pianos, glitched out soundscapes and intricately programmed beatplay, this may well be their best work to date. Consider it the soundtrack to a rainy overcastday, but with just that glimmer of sunshine peeking from the clouds. "Almost Tomorrow" wears its heart on its sleeve.
Am 07.11. präsentieren Timeless Events und rheinTime Entertainment wieder mal einen Leckerbissen für die Freunde der elektronischen Tanzmusik zu Beginn der kälteren Wintermonate. Der Cocoon Live Act Johannes Heil macht wieder Halt im Kölner Underground Club der Elektroküche. Der Frankfurter Ausnahmeproduzent steht seit Jahren für Versponnenheit, Fantasie und Individualität in seiner Musik. Johannes schwimmt mit seiner Musik gerne gegen den Strom, aber vor allem stilistisch vielfältig! Auch verbindet er seine Produktionen immer wieder mit subtilen Worten und Bildern, ob Vocals oder Titel, Techno darf auch eine Aussage haben, solange sie nicht aufgezwungen wird. Tracks wie “Paranoid Dancer“ oder “Hitmachine“ werden wohl auch noch in 10 Jahren als Klassiker gelten, und seine Alben “Heilstyle“ oder “Reality to Midi“ sind wohl in fast jedem Plattenschrank eines Techno Dj’s zu finden! Johannes Heils ständige Weiterentwicklung als Produzent über die Jahre ist nicht wegdiskutierbar und macht dem Technokonsument Spaß auf der Tanzfläche und beim Hören! Wir dürfen gespannt sein, was er dieses Mal für uns im Gepäck hat!
Auf Johannes Heil einstimmen wird an diesem Abend Cotek, welches das Pseudonuem der drei rheinTime Entertainment Verantwortlichen und Elektroküchen Residents Jagger, Chisee und Dompe sind. Die drei starten gerade mit dem eigenen Label, rheinTime Records und eigenen Produktionen auf Labels wie Circus, Amanzing und Gam Recordings durch und spielen in verschiedenen Kombinationen immer öfters als Dj Team unter den Namen “Cotek“! In dieser Nacht bilden Chisee&Dompe das “Cotek“ Gespann. Nach Johannes Heil wird Oliver Neufang, seines Zeichens Timeless Events Chef und Mitbetreiber des Koblenzer No.1 Techno Clubs dem S 38, ein Back-2-Back Set mit Elektroküchen “Mastermind“ Jagger spielen.

Hallo Exilerplerich. Also so richtig dem VfB entsagen kann ich nicht, da hängt zuviel Herzblut dran. Aber die Kraichgauer Hoffenheimer kann ich eigentlich auch unterstützen, schließlich lebe ich ja im Kraichgau. Also wenn es mit dem VfB allzu schlimm wird hab ich noch ne Option offen. Und sonst? Neuer Arbeitsplatz bringt Hektik mit sich, da ich viel zu lernen habe. Wie sieht es bei dir denn aus, kannst du dich in der Schwyz gut über Wasser halten. Grüße aus Großvillars. Hello My Duckyboi, I love that nickname. So cute. Anyway, still trying to get it all finalized. Sucks that it takes so freakin' long. Ahhh,just love the American Government red tape. lol. Yah,right. lol. So what are you two doing for Halloween? I got an invite to a costume party tonight,but I don't think I'll be able to go. Not to mention,the guy throwing the party,is the guy I dated just before John.We'd lost contact with each other for a couple of months,so we never really broke up,we just faded away. He's still a very nice guy,but John knows all about him,just hasn't put two and two together yet. Thank God. The guy hasn't made any moves on me,thank God.That would just complicate things. So I am grateful he hasn't pushed anything. He's very respectable that way. You'd probably like him. Although I don't think you'd like John. Michael didn't. Wow,my memory has completely surfaced where Michael is concerned,and whoa! the stories I could tell you. He fought for me against John,and beat the crap out of John.hehe. John was very abusive then,and let his kids do things to me that should have landed them in jail,but didn't. I couldn't bring myself to do that. Anyway,Michael was a lot tougher than anyone who didn't know him,thought. He actually was my protector,and tried to be up until December,when John snuck me out of the county. He wouldn't leave me alone,ever,so Michael finally gave up,but not before he told me he'd loved,me,and always had. awe. Anyway,ok.enough of that. Have a fun,safe,and happy Halloween.
