Demo review from Terminal Boredom:
"Ahh, a band exalting rust belt hardcore from its working class orientation to the white collar world of synergy, income pressures, Dwight and Creed and fuckin’ Stanley. It’s good that some punkers are thinking about their careers instead of about cabbage farming and the imminent apocalypse. I’m all for that. Especially when they sound like they’re outta that heavily connoted Born Against-era of stale Leftyness where somehow melody’s dialectic with a burgeoning sense of doom denotes the particular politic that fools you into living like a post-industrial troubadour, riding the rails to Bonnaroo and not getting your staff infected dog to the vet… but don’t fret! A certain freshness bleeds up from this one in the form of a patent care in the songwriting department, snotty vocals with a deranged cowboy flavor, sugary pop melodies and bass lines that walk through mazes. All this while retaining a foreboding aura that hangs over these tunes like the unimpeded overcast does their native Buffalo. Nice, clear recording for a demo too." (BG)

Buffalo is going to have it's first of hopefully very many more REALLY REALLY FREE MARKETS! This Saturday, May 2nd, Loads and loads of people from all around Buffalo are going to have a money free trade-off, showing up with old stuff that doesn't serve the purpose it once did, and swapping it for things more useful.
Old tapes, cds, bikes, appliances, books, Any and everything. And at no cost! Crazy, you say? You may just be right. But happening anyways? That's also right.
i'd love to review your band!,if interested please write me back and i will be happy to give you my home address on where you can send your cd for review, thanks and take care now!
Are you interested in reading, radical politics, social awareness, deep discussions, challenging forms of prejudice and privilege, looking to get involved in a low risk activity that can help ourselves grow, as well as build a community?
I am looking to get people interested and involved in some type of reading/discussion group. Some ideas which have been formed: - consensus based group dynamic if/when needed - rotating participation with titles and topics chosen (i.e. different people select titles/topics and draw up questions, talking points etc.) - looking to have discussions that stem from not only reading various articles, books, zines etc. but also would like to have movies, or just a topic with no reference to a title. - a light and friendly atmosphere with mutual respect, where all are welcome to participate
These are just loose ideas and welcome to being developed by a group of people to fit our needs. One does not have to be extremely well read or aware to be involved. All are welcomed to participate.
I am hoping to set up a general meeting of those interested sometime in the next couple of months, shortly after I am moved in to the city. If you would like to be involved or participate, please get in touch by emailing reclaiming_lives@riseup.net

It was nice seeing you all play tonight. Thank you too for the Tootsie Rolls...and the demo...I am enjoying it...it is making me happy in an otherwise very shitty time. Look forward to seeing you play again. pe(A)ce
