The band plays live as a power duo. Conclusions that this is a project paying tribute to the White Stripes or Local H would be incorrect. The band has a full sound though experiments with different sound scapes. As for a point of reference, C.P.X. at times shares the dynamics of the following bands: Soundgarden, Black Sabbath, Pantera, Filter, and Stone Temple Pilots.
This partnership, henceforth referred to as "C.P.X.", was founded on September 17, 2005 at 2:23pm Central Standard Time. This amalgamation is comprised of two individuals who possess immense respect and admiration for the other, particularly in the realm of musical talent, creativity, and self-expression. The core of C.P.X.'s musical direction is rooted in hard rock; however, as the project has grown through a continuously open dialogue between its members, it has ultimately resulted in blurring the boundaries of the musical core itself. Therefore, it is necessary to experience this enigma through both an auditory and a visual medium, so as to fully understand and appreciate the musical diversity and emotional catharsis embedded in this project.
