CRASH'S MEDICAL UPDATE: 11-19-09 The broken knee cap is healing nicely. Unfortunately my surgery 2 nights ago on my left knee had brought with it some bad news. More melanoma. Some of you might know that I have had a personal battle with melanoma the past 5 years. I was first diagnosed in 2004 with a level 4 tumor on the back of my arm. Since then I’ve had about 25 skin cancer removals with 3 of them being melanoma. This time it’s within my mussle that hooks to the knee. I don’t know the level/stage yet or if the margines were cleared when the tumor was removed, but will know within a few days. At this point the protocall is as follows: P scans, x-rays, probably more surgery and chemo. I can’t wait to ride again, Crash
