Soulrack and Mikel_e are the creators of the label Cray1 LabWorks, founded label 4 years ago, and that has managed to be the whole model worldwide.
2009 & FUTURE PLANS
After having consolidated his three labels as a model worldwide already confirmed, it is in this year 2009 in which they have to continue supporting this level.
This is the actual year planning to goal it,
To begin with, during March to May they celebrate "4 year of Cray1 labWorks Tour " that is going to take them to act around whole Europe (Tour powered by BEATPORT) with articles in the main webs and magazines(Groove Mag Berlin, DJ U.K, DJ Spain etc ) And coinciding with this tour Soulrack and Mikel_e will be editing two E.P that contains very special remixes (Damian Schwartz, 2000 and One vs Daniel Sanchez).”
In the summer will take place the South American Tour (Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Chile)
On the other hand Soulrack is preparing his first album in Cray1 LabWorks and having in mind the interest shown by lots of different labels he will definitively start editing punctual E.P's in other labels and Analog Mastering will reconcile the labors of Dj, Producer A&R with the direction of Cray1, working for the mastering of his own label and others of great level.

In addition, 2009 is beginning with two great news,
First of all in January Marco Carola, decides to license Soulrack's original Go Hamilton for his mix CD of the festival TDK TIMEWARP, On the other hand they will begin to have a monthly residence in Only House Music Radio in which it will be able to listen live so much of Soulrack and Mikel_e as the principal artists of the label. Sessions will be able too.
Also they have two works foreseen for this spring for Main Akustik (Matt Star, Berovic, Dermaptera) www.myspace.com/mainakustik one of Soulrack in solitarily and another one of Soulrack and Mikel_e.
2008
Beginning the year with the DJ One magazine nomination to Revelation Label Chapter in the 2007. This is the third press that have nominated Cray1 LabWorks at this same category.

In May, a new track is included in the recopilation FUSE PRESENTS ADAM BEYER // MUSIC MAN (CD/2lp / " 12).
At the beginning of year they created a new sublabel Cray1 DigitalWorks in which they edit their most freak works and took advantage of these two new platforms to look for new talents, like Kornel Lemon's discovery, which edits his first works in some of the labels of the Cray1 LabWorks family and which prompt wakes up the interest of the big ones of the electronics.
It is in this label where Charles Ramirez recorded his first productions, artist which Cray1 LabWorks does not have any doubt it will be the whole model in the future.
It is during the summer when came out the two references that were more popular around, during the year:
C1LW014 Soulrack and Microfunk (Included for two mix cd's and chosen in the top of the year for Shinedoe, Mathias Kaden, Pascal Feos and for the artists of Rhein's big wave. Main-House),
C1LW015 Trolley Route and Tadeo, authentic classical hits, who were confirming that 2008 definitively would have been confirmation year.
It..s only Soulrack and Mikel_e that are able to assemble (in the same family) so different artists getting excellent results.
In addition during that summer, took place the celebration of 25 years as Dj SVEN VATH, and is in the DVD of celebration of these 25 years of SLICES, where the SVEN VATH appears in his own house selecting his favorite records and he chose a Cray1 LabWorks as one of his hits of the year.
During all this year they continue the Cray1 LabWorks nights for the best clubs, the nights in FELLINI club placed in Barcelona are already usual and Txitxarro in Guipuzkoa confirms to them the residence in the club as a model in the zone, since around these parties are 2000 and One, Lucio Aquilina, Gaiser, Anthony Collins, Anja Schneider, Tadeo, Ambivalent, Rhadoo, Alexy Delano etc etc ..
In addition together with Mute they created his own itinerant club MINITECH CLUB, in which the TEchno Old School is the main character.
In Ibiza the C1LW 016 Dreist Luciano becomes one of the frequent played minimal house promos , Mathias KAden, Onur Ozer, Djulz, Karotte, Rhadoo continues with their support to the label.
After a vibrant summer acting in the best festivals, they begin the new season editing Soulrack's remix and Mikel_e in Agile records property of UTO KAREM, again top chart in the main shops, and Adam Beyer's DJ support (drumcode), Dubfire (sci-tec), Rino Cerrone (rilis), Paco Osuna (plus 8), Cisco Ferreira / The Advent (Kombination Research), Simone Tavazzi (Perc trax), Christian Smith (Drumcode), Maurizio Vitiello (bauns music), Someone Else (foundsound)

2007
“Three years old, in 2007 they earned their reputation”. Their label is nominated as best label in Spain and their records are licensed for diverse cd mixes and compilations, with a special attention to the Groove Mag cd mix from Germany mixed by Onur Ozer (Cocoon) or the surprising inclusion in the 2007 Ibiza annual compilation mixed by Dj Oliver and Java.
During this year artists like Paul Ritch, Jesse Rosse, Bart Skills, Martinez, Onur Ozer, Matt Star choose some of Cray1labworks records to be part of their ‘Top Chart of 2007’.
During the month of May Samurai F:M from Japan made a retrospective of all the label references and airs a combined dj set & live by Soulrack & Mikel_e.
During the year 2007 the selling stats grow while the musical quality and especially the sound get better; all due to the creation of Cray1 Mastering. This way they manage all artists that record in the label to feel absolutely satisfied and surprised at the final quality of the sound obtained (Fusiphorm, Tadeo, Billy Dalesandro, Martinez are an example)
Also during this year, they managed their eighth reference to become a true hymn in Ibiza thanks to the unconditional support of influential artists such as Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos, Sven Vath or Richie Hawtin.
2006
This is the year that the German distributor Intergroove notices the label. This translates into a large growth in promotion and a big world wide expansion.
They also receive the first ‘symptoms’ of being in a great label: reviews in all main magazines and numerous feedbacks.
During this year the first newcomers release their records in Cray1LabWorks [Mute:, AzidChild] and they recuperated many artists that had not released for some time [G-MAn aka Gez Varley, Cio, Duplex 100]
The digital market and the entry of main shops like Beatport, Itunes, Juno Download, Kompakt also have a great positive influence, for Cray1 LabWorks have always been vary savvy on new technologies.
2005
In 2005 after years of hard work with hardly any compensation in the local scene and with the feeling that everything had been done already inside the Basque Country, Soulrack aka Karlos Phazer & Mikel_E decide to unite and create a new project:
Cray1 labworks.
With the council and help of their admired Luis Rozalén aka HD Substance, they start to edit their firsts releases, mostly moving towards Detroit techno.
Slowly they find their place in the music market releasing records that obtain very good feedback both in press and feedbacks as well as in sales. (C1LW 002 and C1LW 003 with the collaboration Martinez, Iñaqui Marín and Robert Calvin)
The beginning, as it always is, was very difficult. They encountered many blockages but always managed to find the formula to keep on going and demonstrate with time what they new would happen: “Manage that Cray1 LabWorks becomes one of the first records throughout the World”
