Sounds Like
One kid using all his old riffs and stealing a few from friends. Borrowing a 1/2" tape machine and starting with a drum track. Bouncing that down and adding bass, guitar, and sometimes keys. Then dirnking a little tea or sometimes Whiskey and laying down the vocals. A couple months of Mixing and Mastering then sending it to the printer. A thousand bucks on a stupid credit card and 5 huge boxes of cd's. Now down to four.
Hello, This is Tim's album from two summers ago. I gathered the usual talented kids on Martha's Vineyard together and produced this record. I fed them pot brownies and beer. Except for my sister who I gave cake and pizza. The album recently went "wooden" which means it sold 514 copies!!! I am currently writing and recording and releasing new music with The Billionaires. But this album has made a lot of friends so I will keep the page fresh. Old friends, PLEASE SAY HELLO! love Tim
hello tim laursen, we thoroughly enjoy your music here, and also your work in take fountain!!! great sound and lyrics.good things. thats all, thank you very much. toodle ooo! dufraine?
I challenge local bands to record a jingle/station ID for our new radio station. we'll be broadcasting by dec. 1.
"93.7 wvvy" is the essential info - you could add whatever ("one step up from mvy", "low-power freeform radio", "we don't suck" or whatever.) you can follow it with your band name somehow so you get free advertising.
E-mail maria at wvvy dot org about how to get it to us.
tim i miss you - - i wish half your body could be here going to the beach with me and half my body could be there jimmyjamming with UuUuUuuUUuuuuu xoxoxooxoxo

If you're on island, you can drop a CD off in the sub-basement at PG or you can mail it to MV Community Radio attn. Maria, PO Box 1989, VH MA 02568 [/end standard message]
