DJing, filmmaking, photography, Japanese history, appreciating beauty and art (in all their forms), causing trouble and getting away with it, drunk driving golfcarts at top speeds in the midst of the witching hour, touching the void, sensations of every kind, drinkin' smokin' and all types of ill shit.
Music
...courses through my veins. Broken beats and deep, dirty bass fortify my soul. Low tempos that make you drop your center of gravity. Music to make babies to. I lace my beats like alleys and streets, I weave them like spider's webs.
The innate sensuality shared between a guitar and a voice.
The concept of "The Pulse" and the ambivalence of rhythm...it's never about the notes that are played, it's all about the ones that are not.
Movies
any samurai movie, most notably: Samurai Assassin, Sword of Doom, Goyokin, Yojimbo & Sanjuro, the Samurai trilogy. Also, i like movies that have little or no samurai in them, such as City of God, Amelie, Holy Mountain, Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, Brazil, The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, and Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood, just to name a few.
Television
with friends like these who needs tv? Bella Fuegas
Books
I like to read Basho from time to time. also, James Clavell's "Shogun" is pretty sweet. i read more comic books than anything: Cerebus, Lone Wolf and Cub, Dark Knight Returns, Akira graphic novel, The Watchmen, The Invisibles, 100%.
Heroes
Warriors of Light and Love. Breathers of Truth and Wisdom. Anyone who has accomplished anything through their own means...kudos to you.
About me:
I'm a country boy retrofitted into city life, and i think i cut it pretty good. i seem to know a little about alot, which could be good or it could be bad. i don't take too much too seriously, but i know when i need to get my shit done. i've been very sick all my life, and now i regard my health as a gift. i have developed an unnatural love affair with Belgian and Flemmish beer, in particular the Duchesse.
I was sold out before i started and bought out before i was done, but my selling point is pivoting twelve years above the sun...
my DJ bio:
Raised by jackals in the darkest mountain recesses of Appalachia, Cringer emerged from the back woods armed with two turntables and a fattened sack of dubplates. Traveling to Chicago, he found home with the Part Time Sucker crew bringing his signature brand of bass-ridden drum-driven Jungle and Drum n' Bass. Since then, Cringer has crossed paths with the low level rumblings known as Dubstep and, after dueling with swords on the beaches of Ganryu Island, they joined forces to untwine soundscapes that exist where bass becomes "sub". Currently, Cringer can be found ruthlessly rattling bass bins, scorching dancefloors and tracking the sun in anticipation of 2012. To seek the Cringer, one merely need follow the trail of toppled speaker stacks and demolished sub cabinets.

Who I'd like to meet:
Mifune Toshiro...the greatest on screen swordsman, period.
You two fucking killed it with your set at freakeasy! Sorry if there was any confusion at any point, I was blown away by your shit! When I was flipping you all off it was it was such a sick fucking track. You wrapped me in a warm coccoon of bass and I loved every moment of it. Thank you Thank you thank you!
