three gits driving their anti social schitzoid lawnmower through your brains. its brown rock, its disco, its an emotional logflume ride into the pits of your darkest twistysnaps. its draculas gocart banging into your shins, its an octopus runing up and down your spine, its all and none of the above.

You definitely should go and see The Mirimar Disaster, I am Colossus, Slab and Mothertrucker at the Asylum ........and then you should pootle on down to Exiles and get all drunk with all the aforementioned bands as they will be coming out to play and celebrate being awesome altogether.
If you turn up with a ticket stub from the gig we will let you in for £2 where you can boogie on down to Rock music not normally heard in Shiny Brummingham.
Check out our website and see what awesomeness we’ve been playing.

Les Sons du Nord returns to the UK! An exchange programme of sorts between Northern France, Belgium and Sheffield established since 2006. The event takes over the excellent Shakespeare pub, Gibraltar Street, Sheffield, from the 28th - 30th August. Expect top bands, amazing sausages and nice booze. Sheffield is represented by Nat Johnson, Champion Kickboxer, the Yell, Yo-Yo Static and Rotary Ten whilst Curry & Coco, Frank Shinobi, Soy un Cabalo and the Appleseeds cross the channel.
FLATLANDS Back again after a long break from playing live, album tracks and a few new ones may surface, we're looking forward to this!
CELEBRITY LOVE CRISIS Matt and Nathan Dick of Analysis of Bison Kills play prog-infused metal of the highest order, think a more interesting Pelican, more jazzed-up than shoegaze, but still with a self-reflective element to the sound, should be LOUD.
THE GRAND MARCH New Leeds band who feature Ryan from Chickenhawk (a real selling point if you ask me) and 3 members of the former Leeds band Whores Whore Whores, they play a rock and roll take on Old Man Gloom to these ears, but why don't you come and find out for yourself?
Wednesday 6th August The Grapes £3.50 in 8pm doors First band 8.30 Go on!
The Bon Bon Club are Sushi Quatro (bass, vox), Thirsty Moore (drums, vox) and Chapatti Smith (perc, vox), although Sushi and Thirsty are better known under different names for their day job as the rhythm section of Sheffield glam-popsters The Long Blondes.
Hi friends,
We would like to let you know that our website, Myspace and Facebook page has BRAND NEW MATERIAL available to preview. Updates include tracks from our forth-coming album and promotional video. Please click on http://www. the-gentlemen. co. uk/comingsoon. php/ and follow the links to Myspace/Facebook.
As we are spending a lot of time in the studio at this moment, as well as recording a brand new music video, we are performing very few dates this summer. In the mean time, we are returning home to Sheffield for ’An Evening With The Gentlemen’ tomorrow night to showcase brand new tracks from the forth-coming album and exciting new stage show.

You guys were blinding, really. Even the owner, who didn't seem to give a toss about any of the other bands, was asking who the hell you were!
