   Hakkımızda cssc
This is my little project titled "cssc" that I started a few months ago. I create all the music by myself, using FL Studio (with liberal use of free VSTs). I try to keep everything sounding as realistic as possible, and think I do pretty well with what I have. Obviously, post rock is my biggest influence, I draw a lot from bands like Explosions in the Sky, 65daysofstatic, Cepia, and some Broken Social Scene and The Most Serene Republic. Of course, I throw in some of my own ideas too, the result, I hope is a unique experience for you!

I don't play shows yet, maybe in a year or so when I get some decent equipment. I'm waiting on a looping pedal and then I should be good to go. Also, will be my first year of college next year, so I will (hopefully) have plenty of time to get some shows together

I hope you enjoy, thanks for listening :)

Had a listen. This is excellent stuff, everything sounds more polished than your EP. Not that the EP wasn't great, but this sounds brilliant. Nicely done!!

Hey man, how's it going?
You've got a new record out! I'm disgusted I had to find this out all by myself.
Unfortunately the Wise Owl website is being a bitch and there's no download link. You got one you can send me?

I'm gonna see if there are any youtube vids on 9. I've only heard that it's improved drastically, but we'll see haha.

Yeah, that's all it really takes. Practice and time. The shortcuts/key commands are where it's at.

I'd definitely like to hear what you'll make with Ableton! Keep me posted.

It's a bit to handle at first, but the workflow is amazing in Pro Tools. It just feels like an extension of yourself, so to speak, when it comes to editing mostly.

Your stuff sounds top notch though man. I heard that FL is expanding or maybe it already has from the last time I used it (FL 7) and that it has tons more capabilities.

You'd definitely love Ableton live too. Arguably, it's the best DAW when it comes to sequencing and electronic-based stuff.

oh it's cool man! I kind of felt that I needed a fresh start, so that's why I'm no longer doing that project, especially with the material that I've been doing now; it seemed like it needed a new name.

right now I'm using Reason 4 for most of the synths and drum sequencing using various samples I've found online, Reason's own samples, and my own recorded/manipulated samples. I use a Korg Padkontrol as my controller to come up with basic beats, and then overdub layers of other beats over it; usually using different "kits" for each layer and distortion or reverb on different layers.

I use Pro Tools as my host DAW and Reason as a rewired plugin inside. But sometimes I'll just bounce whatever I have done in Reason to a wav and import it into Pro Tools for further editing and overdubbing guitar, bass, and miscellaneous VST plugins over the wav file. I also dabbled a bit with Ableton Live 8 for one of my upcoming songs and Reaper only because I love their capability of automating all VST plugins. But when it's all said and done, every thing gets finalized in Pro Tools no matter what other program I start out with for any given song.

hey thanks man! those were particularly the parts that took the most time working on too. very meticulous, but well worth the time.

I'm familiar with your page through my previous solo project, Parabstruse.
