The Culann journey has been a long and illustrious adventure that sowed its seeds under the name 'WTN' in late 2005. As WTN the band played regular gigs locally and also had the multiple privileges of performing at the Carling Academy, embarking on a tour of the north of England and supporting Capdown in Edinburgh. WTN became Culann in early 2007 and have undergone a couple of line-up changes since then.
Culann now consists of five good men from Irvine, in Ayrshire, who aim to continue to write new music, record it and perform it. We take our musical influences from a wide array of bands, artists and genres and try to incorporate many diverse styles of music into our songs.
Through various line-ups, the band have played for some of the best promoters and companies Scotland has to offer.
We look forward to whatever else the future holds for the Culann lads.
