Curse Of The Vampire - A french Cold/Wave/Goth band !
Our story began in 1996 with Tony (vocals, guitar) & Jeremie (bass)
But after a long split, it started again more seriously in 2002 with Tony (vocals, guitar), Jeremy (guitar (not the same member)), and Georget (Bass);
The line up changed again with Tony (vocals, guitar), Olivier (guitar) and Georget (bass) and again with Frederic on guitar, on replacement of Olivier ! Stephane joined us too (keyboards) in 2004 !
It lasted for the last 2 1/2 years .... to finally end with the actual line up :
Tony (vocals/guitar), Georget (bass) and Stephane (keyboards) !
We started by playing a lot of Cure covers .... and still play some of them !!!
But we started recording our own demo CD called "In Holyness" in the beginning of 2005 ! We succeeded in giving this one to Simon Gallup himself (bass player of The Cure) in St Malo a few months later !
And the story goes on ... our first full album is on the way ... ready to be released on the 15th of september 2008 ... only 200 copies as a first pressing ... maybe another pressing on the way if things go right ! ... A video for the "Strangest Kind Of Beauty" song will be available as a bonus CD, with the 100 first copies only !
