About CylenchaR

Cylenchar a été formé en 2004 à Hendaye, au creux des montagnes de l'extrême Sud-Ouest de la France. Le nom Cylenchar vient de la mythologie celte et représente la personnification de la Nature.
Le line-up originel est constitué de Lykaon, Nár, Urko (batterie) et Gherh (deuxième guitare). Arthz rejoint rapidement le groupe comme chanteur. Le groupe compose une demi-douzaine de morceaux mélangeant le black, le thrash et quelques sonorités death.
En décembre 2005, Gherh quitte le groupe, immédiatement remplacé par Drahen. La plupart des compositions sont alors délaissées ou retravaillées, les nouvelles versions étant sommairement enregistrées alors que le processus de composition devient plus homogène. Le style s'affirme vers un black metal sombre et oppressant.
Après ces divers changements, Cylenchar joue enfin ses premiers concerts en 2006, et en janvier 2007 débute l'enregistrement de la 1ère démo, "Finis Gloriae Mundi".
En septembre de la même année, Urko quitte le groupe et Torth vient le remplacer derrière les fûts. Son arrivée permet enfin au groupe de se stabiliser et d'évoluer sereinement, un nouvel enregistrement de 9 titres étant prévu pour courant 2009.

Les thèmes abordés par le groupe sont variés mais se rejoignent tous sous la bannière du Chaos et de la Nature, méprisant l'aveuglement et la faiblesse de l'humanité.

These cassettes will be commissioned works (not by content, but by payment) for individuals. If John Smith in London, England wants his own Zebulon Kosted album, I will make a 45 minute album (one side of a 90 minute tape), 2 hand drawn mini posters, I will name the album after him (Zebulon Kosted - John Smith), and the fan will retain all rights to the recording (for use of any future release, sampling, or broadcasting rights). One copy of the album will remain in my personal collection, and one will be sent to the customer, so that the only copy that will be in circulation will be John Smiths copy! Each album is available for the ridiculously low price of $10 (not including shipping), and will be shipped in its completed form no later than 6 weeks from the date of purchase!!!
