    RECENT NEWS: Cynonyte has uploaded 3 brand new recordings to the Myspace media player. Check out the latest recordings and send feedback. They will want to know if their basement recording endeavors sounds good enough for a demo! HISTORY Cynonyte is a Winston-Salem, NC based metal band formed by Mark Lucas (vox) way back in 1999. Since 2007, the linup has changed a bit and now features Fernie, the bassist, and the talents and influences of 2-ex Torture Cell members, Hippie and Darren. Today, Cynonyte is more thrashy, more deathy, and, more importantly, more focused. Their style is a representation of the true spirit of death metal and that style has landed them opening gigs at some rather large venues including: Ensiferum/Hypocrisy; Within Chaos; Epica/Black Guard.
