Heroes
-Robert Rodriguez: the guy any film student would love to become. Read his book sometime.
-Michael Moore. Yeah, this guy might get a lot of sh*t, but he's actually a person who is working to change our world for the better using his gift of storytelling. (I'll put it that way because I know there are some people out there who would say he works in fiction, even though I do not agree.)
-Ellen MacArthur! Same age as me, she solo-sailed around the world in 71 days! I want to sail! Nothing as intense as all that, but still....

About me: I believe in singing in the car...especially if someone else is looking at you.
I believe in splashing around in the water as the Fluffy Bunnies bake up on the beach being bored.
I believe in good movies...and some not so good ones.
I believe in leaving the AC off and rolling down the windows in the car on a sunny day.
I believe there's nothing quite like a car wash to make you feel better.
I believe that when you adopt/purchase a pet, you need to see it as an individual and a forever friend, not a toy that you can get tired of and just pass off to someone else.
I don't believe in Soccer Moms, Mindless Consumers, Designer Mutts and Yuppies.
I'll think of some more stuff later.... :)
Who I'd like to meet: ****Helllloooo...Read Me!! I've gotta tell you, unless I've actually met you or known you, I'm not terribly likely to add you to my friends list. I'm not one of those friend collectors where I'm looking to build up my numbers or anything. It might be one thing if we email back and forth
a bit first, I've got a couple friends on here that started like that, but nothing automatic. I'm sure you're very special and whatnot, but if I don't actually know you, I'm not actually able to call you my friend, no offense.**** (okay, I had to actually put that in bold since people must not get it otherwise....) Oh yeah, and please, when emailing, try to sound half way intelligent. Chatspeak and bad spelling do NOT impress me. Urgh.
Fun, weird, creative, intelligent people.
And Jon Stewart! I'm pretty sure this hottie falls into those catagories. On that same note, I think I'd like to meet Dan Aykroyd! I've watched The Blues Brothers and Ghostbusters a lot recently, and that he's one of the minds behind some of my favorite movies, I'd love to talk to him.
Greece was amazing! and i met the most amazing man of my life! he's coming to see me for x-mas...he wants to see snow...but i long to be back on the island!! thanks 4 checkin in on mermaid-self ;) hope things are well
Hey Cyrille -- thanks for your comment, and for reading my book! Yeah, I sort of forget how many names there are that someone like you would recognize. Actually, Passinault was the name of one of my teachers in 8th grade -- no relation to the CC ones, to my knowledge.
Girls are like apples on trees. The best ones are on the top of the tree. The boys don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead they get the rotten apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples up top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they are amazing. They have to wait for the right boy to come along...the one who is brave enough to climb to the top of the tree! ... You have been considered one of the 10 prettiest girls on my contact list. once you have been hit, you have to hit 10 pretty girls... :): So hit 10 girls on your contact list and let them know they are pretty.... From one Good Apple to another! ;)
You want some time at the theater? Alrighty! Go see Coraline! Like right now! Run out to the theater and see the next showing. You'll want to run back in and watch it again. Although you may want to bring a strap to keep you eyeballs from falling out from all the visual awesomeness they'll be seeing.
