To echo everybody else, thanks a lot for putting on a great race. It was brutal but that's what makes it memorable. I love it. Thanks to all the volunteers, and congrats to everybody who braved the conditions.
Most difficult race ever, but then again Chicago's flat and we plow.
Just playing. Jason, you did a great job at making two hours of my life hell and heaven. I loved every minute.
Congrats to James, Casey and Margaret, you were probably done having two cups of coffee by the time I finished up. Thanks for the Crumpler bag and the Kaminecki key chain!!!
See you in Chicago.
Well, it's over. Tough, tough race, but fun. Congratulations to James, Lyle, Jen and Margaret for kicking ass and to everybody else who finished. Dahmer rules.
At work today, I was telling my co-workers about the Race To The Ends Of The Earth and how much it kicked as going to Chicago and rolling past the Michael Bolton concert. I mentioned that there was a race in December themed after Dahmer called the Dahmer Dash. One of my co-workers worked with Dahmer at the chocolate factory! He said that after he got arrested and they found out how messed up he was, the recalled that Jeff (as he called him), was always very protective of his lunch pail. He would always sit by himself in the corner of the lunch room, open his pail, unwrap his sandwich, take a bite, wrap it up, close his pail. Repeat. Repeat til the sandwich was gone, and then sleep the rest of the lunch hour....He said the cops were searching all the storage areas and the drums of oil and whatever other shit they had at the factories for body parts and evidence... Just wanted to share as my excitement builds for this wild ride!
I arrived at school today, and went to get the security guards to let me into work. We have a new guy working here, and he looks exactly. like. jeffery dahmer. it was ammaazing!
