Everything started in 1995 with Seb (guitar) and Yvan (drums). Then john joined the band on guitar and seb switches on bass. With this line-up, they only played a couple of months. In June '95, due to the fact that John was working far and that they had to record for a split 7", we recorded 14 songs with seb on guitar and yvan on drums. This recording got a poor sound and had no bass. Later, John came back and Fred join the band as a 2nd guitar player. With this line up we played only a couple of months also. Then john left the band and the line up is still the same:

fred: guitar

seb: bass + vocals

yvan: drums

At the beginning, the music was more about Serial Killers and Mass murderers and about things that pissed us off . All lyrics were done by Seb, and all the music was done by Dahmer except 2 songs (one by john)(ex-guitar) and another one by fool-face(They took their music but we put our own lyrics ). They played many times in Québec and Montréal. The line-up never changed since then, and was the same up to the split of the group early in 2000. Though the group split up in early 2000, members are currently still involved in other grindcore bands such as FistFuck and other sporadic live performances as well as various side projects.Dahmer is considered to be one of the most influential and notorious grindcore band in the country.
