Damage Control is a straightedge hardcore band, based in Oslo, Norway. At the time we started, three of us were living together and we had talked about doing a band together. So in the fall of 2001, we got together and wrote a bunch of songs - some of which appeared on our first 7"/CDEP on Crucial Response Records (Germany). So yeah, after having written some songs, Espen joined to sing, and later on Marcus joined on 2nd guitar. Since then we've done about four European tours, we toured the USA twice, and we played a bunch of single shows in Norway and in Sweden. Our LP/CD 'What it Takes' just came out on Livewire-Records (USA), and we just did a European tour to support that.
Playing music has been a big part of all our lives for a long time; Marcus is currently in Without A Heart and used to be in Eyes Shut & Last Hope, Even played in Kids Like Us, Espen also plays in Amulet and played in Sportswear, Onward, Recify & Contention, Daniel used to be in Spawn & Eyeball and Per Oskar is currently in Enforcer and also used to play in DrugXBust & Justice 66....
At the moment we are writing new songs, so there should be more records out in a not so distant future...
Featuring members and former members of crucial portuguese acts such as pointing finger, devil in me, broken distance, for the glory and what went wrong, the rats deliver a fresh set of songs packed with raw and intense riffs, critical mosh parts and a pinch of hard rock flavour to spice things up. This release is a bound to make a dent in the scene
