Due to the capricious nature of the gods of music, this band can't seem to get a steady line up that can actually tour, record, and generally be a band of merry fellows. It remains to be seen if that will ever happen before Eric finally gives up or loses a finger on a hockey skate.

8/24/09 - Well, the europe thing didn't happen because the drummer we had lined up couldn't do it anymore. But, I returned to Oklahoma so we could play some shows and record.
We played our first show for the summer on august 22 in Tulsa, but we still have another on September 8 at the conservatory with various friends' bands: Komarov, Mako, and Legs Dead and Well. It should be fun. The live shows for the summer have Clay Welch of Panda Resistance and Callupsie on drums and Daniel from the first three damez releases and, more recently, from Callupsie, Daniels, and And There Stand Empires. Incidentally, Daniel has some shows coming up with each of those bands, all of which are heartily recommended.
We will also be recording with Stephen Egerton again on Sept 8 and 10. We have five songs lined up, which might get packaged with an old 11 minute song we have sitting around and pressed as a 12". Or maybe we'll just do some splits. I really don't know. At some point our inability to tour, due to lack of an available drummer, really cuts into the financial viability of continuing to press vinyl. (By the way, we're always interested in hearing from potential drummers in socal, or even in other locales, assuming touring is viable for you.) On the other hand, I'm a big fan of the vinyl medium, and really enjoy the ability to showcase some of my friends' artwork to the world (Jared Flaming, for instance).
However, I do know that in a couple weeks we should have the Hope Inscribed on Handbills 7", from RokLok and Too Cool To Dance Records. It has the four short songs we did back in December, also recorded with Stephen, two of which are above.
So, we hope you can make it out to the Conservatory on September 8, and if not, we hope you'll hear the new music we're making. Thanks for checking in.

Merch Stuff - message us for details on getting some
We still have our split 12" with Fire Team Charlie - I have about 50 left (though I'm not sure how many are left total). $8 / $9ppd
We also have our split with Steeples and Someplace To Hide, both extinct but good bands.
3 way split with Someplace To Hide and Steeples on Little Mafia - $6 / $7ppd
I am pretty sure our 10" is out of print, though some random distros may still have copies. We have put out many self-released cd-r demos over the year with varying levels of intricate packaging, none of them are available anymore. Same goes for several designs of shirts, runs of about 30 each, but they tend to run out quick.
I'm gonna be a guest on 2plyradio's Under The Radar program this wednesday evening. From 9-10 (West Coast time) we'll be focusing on local SD area bands and some discussion, including a handful of songs off the upcoming Chaz album making their first appearances! 10-11 will be just cool music that SHOULD be on the radio. There's a chat room too, so feel to ask questions or share your opinions! XOXOXO -Aaron
the area we live in would let us do acoustic shows at the most. without getting the cops called five minutes into it. we'll be having more later so let me know when youre ready.
hey guys, my friend and i are starting to play music together and are going to start hosting shows from his house in laguna hills. we would love if you guys could come and play. i know you still dont have a drummer and thats ok. we think it would be cool if you could come play an acoustic show. he also suggested just coming to play without a drummer but i dont know about that. either way the offer has been extended! we are hoping to maybe have the show in three weeks from this friday. we dont know yet. let me know if it interests you.
