Band Members

Damien A Passmore- vocals, guitars, mandolin, and I'm learning the lap steel and I've bought an accordian. So I think I'll learn that, too

Jamie "Violent Jam" Painter - bass

Steve Goodall - Drums

Paul Cardno - Lead Guitar

Kris Atkins - Guitar, Mandolin, Harmonica

InfluencesHayseed Dixie, Garth Brooks, Tenacious D, Weird Al Yankovic, the Rutles, Johnny Cash, Spinal Tap, the Folksmen, the New Main Street Singers, Mitch & Mickie, the Gourds, the Eagles, Steve Earle, Gin Blossoms, Mental as Anything, Bruce Springsteen, the Monkees, Brad Paisley, Billy Joel, William Shatner, the Beatles, man the list goes on and on.
Sounds Like"Damien A Passmore, whose bag is singing tongue-in-cheek country songs with a touch of controversy. As always his lyrics inspire hearty laughs of disbelief. His medley of 80s tunes, and an encore of Bon Jovi's Living On A Prayer is musical entertainment at its most alarmingly entertaining. Appalachia has Hayseed Dixie, Berkshire has Damien A Passmore. He puts the 'ass' in 'pure class'." - bbc.co.uk

About Damien A Passmore & The Loveable Fraudsters
Failed film-maker, retired pro-wrestler and full-time geek, Damien A Passmore grew up in a musical family & started singing at an early age. At the turn of the century he felt confident enough on the guitar to start perfoming at a local open mic night, leading to larger gigs, and finally original material - country tunes with tongue practically stapled to the cheek, songs of large-handed "women", weddings with only one surname and Cajun menage-a-trois' - as well as country arrangments of non-country material.

After a long period of searching and practicing, and following a revolving door of musicians, the band finally came into place in early 2008. Damien's songs now sound like the did in his head, and the current line-up of Jamie (the short one), Steve (the quiet one), Paul (the really good one) and Kris (the versatile one) is as good a band as you will ever hear in this sub-genre!

The BBC have called it "...musical entertainment at its most alrmingly entertaining...". A member of another band called it "Like a funny version of Garth Brooks". Damien calls it "having fun with the medium I love while wearing plaid and kicking musical ass"

Whatever it is, we're really enjoying it and making sure our audiences enjoy it too! We look forward to seeing you soon, and can assure you that the best is yet to come!

I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!

I’ve been a music journalist for more than 10 years. Over the years, many artists and managers have asked me what the best way to break into the European music market is.

Here are some things you can do:

Publish artist press releases, news, and tour dates to the CountryHome Forum on MySpace, http://groups.myspace.com/CountryHomeMagazine , CountryHome Forum is part of CountryHome, http://www.CountryHome.de , Germany's Premier Country Music Online Magazine. Everything you publish to the CountryHome Forum will be published in my weekly Newsletter which has over 80,000 readers.

Publish artist interviews in English to http://groups.myspace.com/CountryHomeMagazineInterviewsEnglish , interviews in French to http://groups.myspace.com/InterviewsAvecCountryMusicStars and interviews in German to http://groups.myspace.com/CountryMusikInterviews . All these groups on MySpace are part of CountryHome, http://www.CountryHome.de , Germany's Premier Country Music Online Magazine.

Send me CDs and DVDs for review and set up an artist interview with me. All reviews and interviews will be submitted to the magazines I'm writing for. More information for which magazines I'm writing can be found at http://www.MySpace.com/ChristianLamitschka

Upload artist videos to http://www.MyVideo.de and http://www.ClipFish.de . Both websites are like http://www.YouTube.com and uploading videos is free. The websites are completely in German. If you don’t speak German and need assistance, I will help you open an account and upload a video for 25 Euro. Each additional video upload for the same artist name and at the same video website is 10 Euro.

If you have more questions about the European music market or about any of the information I send to you today, please contact me at Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de too.

CountryHome Forum, http://groups.myspace.com/CountryHomeMagazine , is one of the biggest Forum for country music in Europe and part of CountryHome, www.countryhome.de , Germany's Premier Online Country Music Magazine.

CountryHome Forum have more than 5,000 members. Each news you submit to CountryHome Forum will released to my weekly Newsletter with more than 50,000 readers.

Please submit your artist news and events to CountryHome Forum to help your artists to get well known better in Europe. If you do not have the time to submit your artist news and events by yourself, please send it me to: Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de and I will submit them by myself to CountryHome Forum.

I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.

I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.

Thanks

Chicks Dig Scars - Chapter One

Chicks dig scars, everyone knows that, right? Meet Severence DeSnappio, a man who creates ‘fake’ injuries for desperate clients. He’ll get you a stab wound, shot gun blast, snowboarding injury - but a bite from a great white shark?

S
et in Miami, Chicks Dig scars is a lyrical, Lynchian mix of dream logic and hard boiled detection.
