Il progetto Damned Creation nasce nell'Ottobre del 2004 da Deimos (ex batterista Infernal Angels) e Vlad. Con limminente entrata di Abyss alla chitarra e successivamente di Thanatos alla voce, e Agahareth alle tastiere, il progetto finalmente si concretizza in band. Sotto linfluenza di un'aura oscura, alla fine del 2005 i Damned Creation iniziano il loro percorso compositivo, che li porterà nel mese di Luglio del 2006 ad incidere il primo promo-cd dal titolo "Soilblack".Subito dopo l'inizio dei lavori di "Soilblack", il tastierista Agahareth abbandona la formazione per motivi personali. Egli verra' sostituito dalla tastierista Kyra e successivamente entrera' a far parte della formazione anche il bassista Andras. Il Cd Autoprodotto è stato registrato negli IUD Studios di Potenza e vede la presenza di 5 tracce di symphonic Black metal. Nel Settembre dello stesso anno inizia la collaborazione con l'agenzia di promozione Necrotorture Agency, che si occuperà del Management. Durante l'inverno e la primavera successivi la band si concentra nella composizione dell full,impegnandosi nella ricerca di nuove sonorita' e differenti trame melodiche rispetto al loro precedente lavoro. La fase compositiva si conclude verso la fine di giugno, in concomitanza con il quasi, immediato inizio dei lavori di registrazione del full che durante l'estate del 2007, cambiera' nome passando dall'originario "Martyr & Tiranny" all'attuale (e definitivo) titolo "Bleak Mental Torture". Le registrazioni, comprese di missaggio e mastering sono state dirette dal 16th Cellar Studio di Stefano Morabito.Dopo la conclusione delle registrazioni,il batterista Deimos e la tastierista Kyra decidono di lasciare la formazione per motivi personali.Nell'arco di un mese,il fulcro della band si sposta da Lagonegro a Potenza;nel mentre,i due membri mancanti vengono sostituiti da Morgoth alla batteria e da Agahareth,il primo tastierista della band.Allo stato attuale,la band è impegnata nella promozione del full, nell'organizzazione delle esibizioni live e nella ricerca di una label.

The Damned Creation project has been initially conceived by Deimos (ex Infernal Angels drummer) and Vlad in October, 2004. With the following joining of the guitar player Abyss, of the singer Thanatos and of the keyboards player Agahareth, the early project became a real band. The Damned Creation began to write their own music under the influence of a dark aura at the end of 2005. This path have brought them to the recording of their first autoproduced promo-cd, “Soilblack”. After a bit from the start of the work concerning "Soilblack", the keyboard player Agahareth decided to leave the band for a personal matters. He was substituted by the keyboard player Kyra and, next, also the bass player Andras entered in band. The promo-cd was recorded in the IUD Studios in Potenza, containing five symphonic Black metal tracks. The band’s collaboration with the promotional agency “Necrotorture Agency: www.necroagency.com”, that is dealing with the Management, began in September of the same year. During the following Winter and Spring the band concetrated on the composition of the full lenght,pledging itself on finding different kind of sonorities and melodies as regards to the previous work,"Soliblack". Composition phase ended at the end of June 2007 and,at almost same time, recording phase started.During this phase,the album changed its name from Martyr & Tiranny to the final one, Bleak Mental Torture. Recordings,with both mixing and mastering, were done at 16th Cellar Studio of Stefano Morabito.After the official release of the Full's promo,Deimos (drums) and Kyra (agahareth) left the formation because of personal matter.During the sequent month,the "headquarter" of the band moved from Lagongero to Potenza.During this time,the "leaving members" were substituted by Morgoth (drums) and Agahareth (Keyboard).At the moment,the band is busy in publicizing its work,organizing future live's exhibitions and is looking for a label.
