Dance Recital takes you back to the beginning where dreams and ambition start and how life in the "City of Dreams" takes the girls on a wild ride. Dance Recital is entertaining, funny, and full of the joy and sadness that makes life worth living and the three of them worth watching. The inspiration for Dance Recital came to creator and lead singer Hilary Novelle while waiting to audition for the Broadway Musical "HairSpray." Like all the hopefuls in that small rehearsal hall, she shared the memory of when her parents took her to her first Dance Recital and she realized that she would not be satisfied until she was able to share her music and talent with the world. Since that moment, Hilary began to work towards that goal. Her songs have been on top 40 radio and she has toured nationally as an opening act with Destiny's Child, O-Town, 98 degrees, N'Sync, Britney Spears, and Christina Aguilera. While signed with the "pop factory" TransCon Records, she released a cosmetic line and album at age 14 and worked with legends Wyclef Jean and Jose Feliciano. Kherington Payne started at an early age as an avid dance competitor which led her a position as a top finialist on the hit TV show "So You Think You Can Dance." This landed her a starring role in the 2009 remake of "FAME" and is currently starring in Laurianne Gibson's new dance-docu series "The Dance Scene" out this April on E!. Madia Hill is a triple threat, singing and dancing in spots for Pepsi, Reebok, Sprite, and So You Think You Can Dance. Their professional backgrounds in music, dance, stage and television make them complete triple threats. With their fresh new look and concept they quickly grabbed the attention of Grammy Award winner John Legend who has been instrumental in creating the sound for Dance Recital!
