Kraven Seneca Dance Company is looking for fresh, inspiring, motivated members with good work ethic and more importantly love, love, love performing and perfecting the art and sport of dance.
Company hopefuls...
* Should have at least 3 years of training and/or experience in Hip-Hop, Street Jazz or Funk dance. Other disciplines are a + but not required
* Must have a flexible schedule that can accommodate extra rehearsals and performances,
* When accepted a member cannot be an active participant of a similar dance troupe or company
* Must be a team player. No outrageous egos in our rehearsal hall!
* Students are encouraged to try out but should at least be at the Intermediate level in their training

A Conversation with Quiara Alegria Hudes on November 17th at 6:30pm at Teatro SEA (107 Suffolk Street, 2nd floor).
This will be a conversational symposium celebrating the creative process of a writer through the story telling from Puerto Rican writer, Quiara Alegria Hudes, who wrote the book for the Tony Award Winning Musical, In the Heights. This conversational symposium will focus on how story telling is developed, shaped and affected by collaboration, mission and the responsibility of giving real Latino work to our Hispanic artists in the NY industry.
This event is perfect for aspiring writers and performing artists to attend, and finally have the opportunity to ask those questions they feel are always left unanswered.
