This Saturday night (April 12th), Acii Disco has something very special in store for all fans of the Underground, a show that we have been waiting for some time and one thats sure to be somthing speacial - FORMAT B!!!! Berlin is renowned for its export of quality and consistent music, be it techno, minimal, house or electro, and this Saturday one of its finest (Format B's Franziskus) will be providing us with some serious aural pleasure.
Over the last 3 years FORMAT B have been working there way up the ranks with there pumping party sound, taking minimal to new territory and injecting a hi energy dancefloor groove to clubs across the globe, this Saturday the show will arrive in the extreamly intimate Traffic basment!
Wonky, twisted, techy, minimal rollers with extremely catchy grooving baselines is what you can expect - past releases such as The Vivian Wheeler EP, Split Pot and Bronson Road have rocked dancefloors across Europe frequently.
With 3 dates booked at Sonar this year in Barcelona as well as The Egg Club in London among others, these guys are constantly on the rise and this is a night not to be missed!

This week Acii Disco has even more treats in store as we welcome from BBC Radio Mr Paul Hammil aka Psycatron to out humble little disco! Resident at Stiff Kittens underground "ZOO" every Friday night in Belfast and with his own label Psycatron records pushing out the productions plus his renowned and much respected Saturday night dance show on BBC Radio at the heart of it all he knows exactly how to stir things up on any dancefloor. Having played alongside names such as Louis Osbourne, A Guy Called Gerald, James Holden and Phil Kieran to name a few and with Psycatron productions gaining worldwide support from top shots such as Deep Dish, John Digweed, Paul Van Dyk, Funk D..void, James Zabiela and Radio One..s Pete Tong its sure to be an educational visit from the northern techno guru. Expect a twisted mix of gritty underground music from Psycatron, pushing the boundaries and rattling brains with support on the night from Acii Disco resident Al Keegan is sure to be an epic night of fresh new music.

Distance was alright yeah, I was fairly mouldy tho so I can't recall whether his set was any use but I danced a lot and had a good buzz with the Maynooth massive so I'm happy. Was in McGrowlers last night. Rian's set was bangin. Not long home actually and after all the shenanigans I'm guna need a lot of rest before Thursday. I'm gettin too old for this. And too broke.
