Daniel O’Donnell MBE is one of Ireland’s biggest exports.
Since releasing his first UK charting album, ‘From The Heart’, in 1988 Daniel has gone onto record a UK Album Chart Hit for every consecutive year since, that’s 19 years and counting. During that time he has amassed over 10 million worldwide album sales, played thousands of shows all over the World in large, prestigious venues, and amassed an incredibly loyal fan base of millions which would be the envy of most celebrities.
Recent years have really seen his popularity shoot through the roof. He has recorded an incredible 7 Top 10 albums since the year 2000 alone, and had 4 consecutive Number 1 DVD’s during the same period. This coming Spring will see Daniel taking his unbelievably successful Rock ‘n’ Roll tour out across the UK’s arenas one last time. As ever what the future holds and whatever success is still awaiting Daniel is uncertain – but what is for sure is that whatever happens Daniel O’Donnell will leave his mark in the record books as one of the most successful artists Ireland has ever seen.
