Hello to all and welcome! For as long as I can remember, I've have always had an enormous passion for music. Morning, noon & night music has never been far away. Therefore it should be no surprise to learn that I have found myself drawn into the world of music for almost all of my working life.
So for well over 10 years I have followed my heart and pursued what many might consider to be the unusual combination of being both a singer and a drummer. I suppose I have Phil Collins to thank for that!
I started work as a session singer and drummer which has given me such a rich blend of experience. Then in 2002, prompted by many friends I decided to challenge myself by entering "Popstars: The Rivals", where I sang to become a member of the boy band "One True Voice". It was the same show that created the incredibly successful girl band “Girls Aloud”. We had the pleasure of a couple of top 10 singles, but circumstance resulted in me leaving the band.
Since then I have continued to work as a singer and drummer while writing and building a catalogue of songs which really reflect me. I simply love performing live and I have been lucky enough to have written and worked with some of my musical heroes, including:
- Andrew Roachford
- Derek McKenzie, Rob Harris and Paul Turner (Jamiroquai's rhythm section)
- Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams)
- Basement Jaxx
- Brian West of Track & Field (Nelly Furtado)
- MachoPsycho (Pink).
- Matthew Marston (awesome songwriter/producer: “it’s all good”, “simple things”, “waiting on the sun”, “easy come easy go”, “forever”).
I have also had the incredible privilege of performing in a principal role at the West End as Quickly Robinson in Jailhouse Rock. This was an unbelievably rewarding experience, which I would love to repeat again sometime. Bring back Jesus Christ Superstar!!

Hey Daniel just wanted to say you are a really talented artist and I hope you achieve your dream. You really deserve it. Was gutted when you didn't get through to the live finals, would've voted for you all the way! It must have been really hard but to be honest I think you're too good for X Factor. It's too gimmicky. I mean they're sacrificing talented people like yourself for the sake of 'entertaining' the audience with the likes of Jon & Edward! At least it's thrust you back into the spotlight again though, can't wait to hear your music in the charts and buy your album! Good luck!
Hi daniel. To be honest i think your creativity and eclectic tastes would have ben swallowed up by the x factor. Not to slam the show, i love watching it but i think its for a certain type of artist and you have more to offer. Think seal fronting the chilis with leonard cohen helping the song writing process! You have a certain soul and purity- keep it x

You have such a passion and love for music and your performances to me showed such professionalism and talent and I have a feeling someone will have snapped you up already!!!!! Please god!!!! Well done on how far you got and i do hope we hear more from you and get to see you live doing what you do best.
I was so gutted that you didn't get through - they got it so wrong! I had no idea you'd done so much stuff before I'd seen you play in London in June. You've got a fantastic voice and I wish you every bit of success. Whatever happens don't give up ;)
Was totally gutted tonight Daniel. I was sooo looking forward to having the opportunity to see you sing every Sat night. However, its been a good platform to let ur old fans from Popstars the Rivals to know you are still around doing what you do best. U r soooo talented.
