Dan Nguyen was born on July 9 (Hue, Viet Nam) and later became the eldest in a family of 4. In 1998, Dan and his family made their way to the United States. Ever since he was a child, Dan has had a passion for singing. He placed first in many singing contests. The latest one was Hoai Phong star search (Tuyen Lua Ca Si) in San Jose, California in October 2006. In the meantime, Dan is taking guitar lessons- he says this is one instrument he would love to be able to play. i was there too but DN haven't see me because i was hide when i saw him i feel so nervous so i was hiding, so DN haven't see me but at least my brother and my sister took a picture with him and at least i have seen him in real life

To Charmaine: Yeah, I know that you are REALLY upset right now b/c he didn't reply. And of course, I am too. Yesterday, I was really disappointed about why he didn't have time to reply for his FAN. So I called my cousin (who was in the band with DN last Friday at the LATO music concert in Denver). He said to me, DN is a VERY VERY VERY nice person, DN is really fun to be with but he was feeling sick on Friday. And after the show, DN stood in the back stage for a little bit before came out, and I met him in the back stage. He was shock but he was friendly somehow. So as Michelle said, maybe we chose a bad time to become his fan. Moreover, this is the end of the year, the most busiest time for everyone not just singer. So, let's wait until January, maybe he would have some times for us. I just don't want to rude on the support that WE have for him just because he didn't reply. So be calm and time will prove how DN really is.

Seen all your (cough) lovely comments in DN myspace. What made you think that anh Dan doesn't care about his audiences? Who are you to judge women!!!??? You've said that you met anh Dan in real life once…and just that one time you judged him straight away? If you truly love DN for his singing, his unique vocal, and his kind heart of helping the unfortunates…then you should stop complaining something that is …so unimportant, stop being so unreasonable for your own SAKE!!! . I met anh Dan at my city early this month; he was super busy at the time!!! He is so sweet because it was super busy, crowded (AND HOT!!!) and I wanted to take pictures with him and ask him if he could stayed back a little after the break session so I can have a decent picture with him, GUESS what? He keep his promises and did stay back just for me…but then so many fans grabbed him back for pictures, the 2nd sessions have already started, DN still taking pictures with his fans. He thanked everyone for supporting him that night!!!. So please, don’t say trash about anh Dan, we know what’s true and what’s not true man!!! I don’t know what happened that night when you met him dear, but I think that it aint true!!! …And if you loving DN for his look, then…uh…ahem…NO COMMENTS!!! I hate talking to people…i.e. YOU…the people who judge others by their looks…GET A LIFE!!! To answer your unreasonable complaints, back in those days …after anh Dan’s first performance on Asia stage. To chau and charie...i have to agree with both of u. yes it is a little disappointed, but have a look on the positive side babe....as Chau have said we love anh Nguyen for his music and we will alwayz support him, not just base on anh comment and judging anh.....
