My musical journey began when introduced to the guitar age 8. Almost immediately I naturally started writing songs. Playing guitar is an extention of who I am, it says things I can't express. Played at many Festivals CMA Nashville, Fairbridge Folk Festival (Perth), Gympie Muster, Tamworth Country music Festival. Supported acts such as The Wolverines, Adam Harvey, James Reyne,Daryl Braithwaite & Bobby Flynn. International artists David LaMotte, Mose Scarlett & Gary Puckett.
I’m inspired by artists like; Stevie Ray Vaughan, Smashing Pumpkins, White Stripes, Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Cream, The Doors, Sheryl Crow & of course Clapton. I love the timeless melodies, catchy riffs and meaningful lyrics. Even though I love performing and writing with the electric guitar, I find the best songs are the ones that just stand out on the acoustic guitar and voice alone. I've worked on finding my own unique sound and have had this quote on my guitar case for some years now;
'It’s very easy for a musician to fall into the trend of a certain time, there are only a few who are inspired enough to create the trend' Judge me only after listening to my music, or better still see me LIVE!!!
