"Danny Michel has reached a point where his musical vocabulary is so broad, his songwriting/arranging
chops so sharp, his guitar playing so distinctive and his taste for the right sonic touch so
impeccable that he can do whatever he wants and make it compelling"

"He's a Canadian singer from outside Toronto. We met him when I was doing
festivals, just before I got sick... and I really fell in love with his records."

Hey Danny, We caught 2 of your showes at the Rivoli. One with Band and one Solo. And as I said to you on Sat night, we enjoyed both equally. You are a very talented individual and very good entertainer. I will continue to help grow your fan base! Looking forward to the next show. Cheers! Andy
I just read some information on-site here. Just gave some tracks a spin as well. Like "Lightening" Furs - heard that on radio one day while driving (not know it was you) and thought.. There is a unique character. It's different. The title of the song. Yesterday I heard some of your other songs and thought .. "I like Danny". You make the music I like. Now above it said the star said “Danny Michel must be growing weary being labeled as one of this country’s most undiscovered musical treasures.”
I think you have been discovered because your a treasure according to your fans. I don't think all your music is "Country" It's a mixture and blend all of your own and it has many depth and many colors. Great melodies and you have a unique way to tell a story and get the point of view across Danny. Thanks for being a friend here. We need more music like yours.
For a split second today I considered jumping on a plane to Ottawa...but I didn't have coffee this morning and couldn't motivate myself out of my chair. Have a fantastic show! xo
I just listened to the Bandwidth episode that will air later today....and I just have to say that I loved the part at the end with you and Dan singing What A Wonderful World!! I must go to the radio 2 website and listen to the entire show!! BEAUTIFUL!!

Danny somehow I heard your music before around and I love it. Excellent songs Danny. You sort of remind me a tad of Paul Simon. I love Paul Simon. Great songs Danny. Not sure which is my favorite yet. I will have a listen to all of them and then be back to comment.
I'm totally excited about you coming to Europe soon. I'm from Switzerland and I saw you once opening up for Barenaked Ladies in Guelph (2003) and two more times in Vancouver while I was living there for 3 months (2007). PLEASE come to Switzerland! Preferably close to Zurich.
Thanks!
(Of course I already own "Feather, Fur & Fin" as well as all your (still available) other albums including one red vinyl!)
