Sounds Like
A combination of ... Creedence Clearwater Revival, Led Zeppelin, Cream, "garage rock", etc.
In an industry full of fluff and filler, Danny's music is the proof that true blues-rock music still exists. A "musician's musician," Danny immerses himself into every bit of the creative process from writing to producing to playing every instrument. This complete hands-on approach ensures that Danny's sound stays raw, soulful, and true to the spirit of live performance. The final product can sometimes be likened to the vintage recording days of rock; reminding listeners of a time prior to the over-produced, over-layered, and over-commercialized songs of the contemporary pop era.
Danny's roots are evident in his bluesy riffs and sometimes psychedelic effects. While the riffs pay homage to such icons as Stevie Ray Vaughn and Eric Clapton, it's Danny's use of guitar effects that makes one take notice. Danny's blend of old-school-meets-modern-day-effects is probably best described as "Jimi Hendrix meets Tom Morello".
Likely the most outstanding facet of Danny's music, though, is his strict attention to the rhythm section. Danny's beats thump with ferociousness and energy that would put a smile on the face of the late John Bonham. Danny's drum work is the anchor to his sound and a testament to what years of experience and practice can accomplish.
In summation, Danny Patterson's music can be simply described as true.

Thanks Danny, for your support of our anti pay-to-play site. This is a problem that we all face together. Hope you'll spread the word to other musicians!
They're good. We just played last Saturday at Cup of Grace and we are playing this coming Sunday at a church for their morning service. I'm having a blast!
We have great news! Our new album, "All Over The World" released this week! We have been so grateful to see our singles hit the charts already. "My Adoration" is at #18 on the national inspo. radio chart, next to Mercy Me and Jeremy Camp. Also, "Edge Of My Seat" hit #1 on the Christian-indie chart. Feel free stop by our page and take a listen.
The CD is now available to order on our site, and you may find it at your local Christian bookstore.
Thanks for the add Danny. Looks like you are pretty busy out there !! We dig that and offer you our drums and snares for a great investment in sound and design...Its hip to be square !!
