Dans Le Rock started out back in June 2005 as a rocky alternative for all the hiphop/r&b and house nights in Amsterdam. The sold out first edition attracted 180 people to the infamous Badhuis De Bochel. Since, Dans Le Rock has organised indierock nights in places like Melkweg, Paradiso, Bitterzoet and Het Ketelhuis in Amsterdam.
Gradually, rocky electro tracks entered the Dans Le Rock oeuvre, resulting in a unique blend of raw indielectro tracks and both contemporary and old rock tunes.
Aside to their own clubnights the Dans Le Rock DJ Team has been a guest at many clubnights, festivals and rockshows, including Amsterdam Dance Event (Paradiso), Pink (Ahoy), Penis in Vagina (Club 8) and the Lowlands Festival.
