About Prideland Voyagers Club (formerly Dan Wiley)
hi!
Prideland Voyagers Club began as a two piece ensemble at Duke University, was put on hold during another band in Florida, and returned halfway through that band with different members. Again held for "Dan Wiley" the solo project, then back into action this time in Virginia, with Alex Cloud, and now Eric LeFrancois. James Kylen is a founding member who is still in Florida, and we join together like a seatbelt for group tours, or like a wishbone, for recording projects. Prideland Voyagers Club is a mostly blonde spirit, with youthful glee, and a curious dreamlike devotion to God, Jesus, Buddah, and the otherworld. We bring you happiness, motivation, melancholy, and a wistful sense of humor that you might like beside a bun, with a cup of coffee, and a microphone. Coming to a town near you!
The band has recorded sporadically since 2003, but has yet to publish a cohesive collaborative album, given the difficulty of self-recording. Until then there's these "myspace special reduced audio quality" things here, tour CDs available at shows or by mail, and semi-gloss compilations listed here:
