Under the training of DJ Ghonzales at the LIVC DJ School in Prague, Dialect began his DJ career. Michael's tastes progressed until he found the style which suited him. Chucked out his old tech-house wax in favour of the harder Slovak sound, which finally led him to the Birmingham techno sounds.
Now, sticking to the dark, evil, industrial sounds of the birmingham sound producers, such as Surgeon, Grovskopa, Luka Baumann, Makaton, Paul Damage etc.
After begining in small clubs around Prague and the Czech Republic he started, with his good DJ friend, Reznyk, their own techno nights in Prague. Soon they were playing host to such live acts as: The 65D Mavericks, Grovskopa, Luka Baumann, Elektrabel, Supagrupa.
06/2007 Dialect creates another dj nick - Ytor! Ytor is also into dark sounds but in d'n'b and jungle...sometimes going even to breakcore.
Using laptop with controller and 2 decks creates Dia+Rzk project PADRT.
Playin industrial dark techno oriented music, combinated with experiments and other breaks...
Together with the beginning of the year 2007, our aural systems will be forced to experience the new Czech stylistically varied KAKTUS RECORDINGS net label which will release free tracks in the MP3 format.
The Kaktus label has already existed for quite a long time. The
underground crowdconnected with drum'n'bass, jungle and the Punto Azul club scene are familiar with the various artists on this label, but throughout the Czech Republic and the world around it's known only to a few trained listeners.
Kaktus came out in a flash in 2001 first releasing the 12" vinyl Kaktus001, where its authors Igraczechand Touchwood
showed off their own production style. Since then, Kaktus was standing dormant, flooded with ideas and growing, it will now show that after six years it's still there.
The web address www.kaktusrecordings.org will be its home and all the musical stories will be available in the form of free downloadable MP3s. Kaktus is familiar with every musical style and genre, but we can assure you it's going to be more listener-engaging.
