Music
Music is one of many things that I am passionate about. I like anything that moves me, being it physically, or emotionally, or even spiritually. I do not suffer the nonsense of Hip-Hop nor the cliche set to twang that is county music. You can keep that. I also rarely engage in any Top 40 type music, as it is mostly all useless drivel.
Movies
First off, anything that was shot for it's look over it's substance is automatically on my favorite list. Beyond that, anything dark, sinister, passionate, violent, and thought provoking is good with me. I do like to laugh as well, so a good comedy is always welcome. Probably my favorite movie of all time is Apocalypse Now. Also on my top 10 would be the Matrix movies, the Star Wars movies, Colors, Stripes, The Shining, The Hitcher, most Super Hero type movies, or action movies in general...Nosferatu, or pretty much any Vampire flick..
Television
Lots of cop shows, anything with badges and lawyers (Notice I didn't say 'lab techs') tends to make me happy. Doctors also tend to do that. Super Heroes do it too...I never miss my Family Guy and The Simpsons though....
Books
I used to read a lot... these days, not nearly as much. But I am a sucker for the classics. Give me a copy of The Complete Works of Poe or Shakespeare and I am good. As well, most religious/occult books I will at least read..... maybe like, maybe not.
Heroes
Xian, my good friend and inspiration is definitely one of them, she is a credit to the LA scene, and to humanity as a whole. Also, abuse survivors, be it sexual, physical, emotional, whatever.... Survival is most basic of instincts, I commend you for grasping at it firmly, and beating the odds. As well, people that are out there doing their own thing and not caring what others think. The true spirit of diversity lives among those that dare to break the binds of societal oppression. Of course, I will always have a special admiration for Fire Fighters.
About me: So much to say, in so little time. I am the enigma and the answer, the saint and the devil, the love and the hate.... Balanced as well as I can be, when I can. Looking to surpass what I am, and be all that I was promised, while knowing that is a lie. I am as common as a snowflake, and as misanthropic as a serial killer. But you never know, I could be wrong.
Who I'd like to meet: I like freaks, geeks, nerds, weirdos, psychos, and people that can generally amuse me. Being odd is a blessing, not a curse... embrace it! I seek the unique, the ambiguous, and the heathen.
