people like Jun Senoue, along with the many that have produced for the Sonic series, have had an irreversible effect on my life that is hard to explain. my friends consider me a fanboy, but it's different than that... though i'll slaughter any and all as Sonic in Smash Bros. if i can.
...anyways, Sonic, Castlevania, Final Fantasy, and Metroid have all had a musical influence on me, some of which a person may be able to pick up on if they look for it. then again, i'm deliberately making Sonic-related ideas, so i guess those wouldn't count.
i love the "wall of sound" concept, and i've always adored a full organ sound or an in-your-face-with-notes kind of orchestral piece (Nobuo Uematsu and John Williams always had a knack for that), so what i percieve as music could be considered clutter to someone else, but i have that type of focus to appreciate two separate and distinct chords at the same time doing different things... because it's awesome.
i've also grown fond of a dancy or "overt-kit" kinda sounding percussion with something like strings and brass. it's almost difficult for me to do something that doesn't move, probably because i'm trained as a percussionist, notably: a snare drummer, and i like to have a steady pulse, but a syncopated groove that can add to the ensemble... even if it doesn't belong, logistically. i'll freely use elements of synth and rock with elements of classical or dance.

i make music. i make way too many types of music. rock, synth, and orchestral songs are my forte i suppose. i tend to mix and the match them with other styles when i can, just for the helluvit.
i'm looking for uses for my music, or even projects, paid or otherwise.
