About me:
As a DJ, my philosophy is to keep it eclectic and never box myself in. I'm not a house DJ, I'm not a Hip Hop DJ, I play NO TRANCE WHATSOEVER. However, give me a little bit of all of it and I'll do what I can to swirl it all up on teh ones and teh twos and spit it back out atcha in a way you never expected. Music is meant to shake teh bootay. period.
I look at DJs before me like Z-Trip, DJ P, DJ Shadow, Cold Cut, Kid Koala, DJ Czech and so many others mixin' it up and layin' it down.
I am also a member of Stronghold, an 8-member arts collective that bought four houses on a piece of property on Beacon Hill that we are building out into artist live/work space. I've lived in Seattle my whole life, and don't plan on leaving anytime soon. I like to push buttons, am fairly opinionated and outspoken. For some reason though, people seem to kinda like me.
