Third-Person Autobiography of artist Daryle Stephen Ackerman, more commonly known as Daryle Ackerman:

Daryle Ackerman studied computer science at Okanagan University College in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada and at the University of Victoria which is also in B. C.. He received a Computer Information Systems diploma in 1998 which has allowed him to achieve gainful employment in the software development sector, which, in turn, now supports his musical endeavours. These include three solo albums' worth of original material, the last of which, "Mass Exodus", is over fourty-eight minutes in length and features thirteen original songs.
Further point-form information regarding Daryle Ackerman:
- was born in 1975 in Kelowna, B. C., Canada
- has had very little professional training, almost everything that he knows about music was garnered on his own without outside help
- has been playing saxophone (alto, tenor, baritone, and soprano, chronologically) since 1987
- started playing pianoforte by ear in 1988
- commenced playing keyboards and programming drum machines in 1989
- commenced songwriting and sequencing music on his first real semi-professional "workstation" keyboard at this time
- has been playing percussion (tambourines, shakers, cabasas, maracas, et cetera) since 1990
- studied audio engineering and production at the Camtek Institute of Technology in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada in 1993 and 1994 under the direction of music producer Cam Guse
- started writing classical and/or new-age pianoforte sonatas in 1995 whilst attending Okanagan University College; this was the start of "Sonatas from 'on High'" being realized with the energetic and poignant instrumental piece 'energies redirected'
- has been singing since 1998
- wrote most of "Sonatas from 'on High'" in 2001, a collection of ten original new age pianoforte sonatas plus his rendition of Schubert and co.s' classical piece 'Ave Maria' which Daryle recorded in a strenuous seven consecutive day stretch starting in late January of 2002; this recording has been labeled as being “a refreshing change” to the typical new age material in the market; this material is to be reworked and rereleased in time
- wrote and recorded eight of eleven demos for his 2003 album "Not of this World" also in the start of 2002 and again in the first half of 2003; this material has not yet been released to the general public
- has been playing acoustic and electric guitar since 2004
- recorded all of his album "Attention to Detail" in 2005, written since 2003 but mostly in 2005 on equipment paid for by Daryle's critically-acclaimed tenure at the Kelowna Art Gallery as a database development expert
- released his latest album, "Mass Exodus", in 2009 in digital-only format; this album features a tribute to Barack Obama and an original Christmas song
- has created original visual artwork for "Sonatas from 'on High'" (2002), "Not of this World" (2003), and "Attention to Detail" (2005), including a complement of hand drawings, a full-size poster for the "Not of this World", and various digital photographs of Daryle throughout the 2000s
- knows various artists and musicians throughout British Columbia and Alberta, Canada and has made contact with many more musicians internationally through the internet
- is interested in acting, not unlike how musicians Kevin Bacon, Phil Collins, Will Smith, Jon Bon Jovi, and LL Cool J have also forayed into acting
- has a song for nearly every occasion, be it his own or that of another artist/band
