    The man comes from the schools of French Hip Hop, Rock and Reggae. Always keeping it reeeel making DnB and Ragga Jungle on the side. .. ..Check the official SoundBringer website: ..Click here babe!.... A little bit of crazy musical history.... Dis man was born in France in 1977, grew up in a village with a friendly tribe listening to lots of Hendrix, dylanesque blues and other 60s music, often wandering as a child in the Paris Artist quarter of St germain des pres full of jazz and vibes (Gainsbourg was just around the corner), at aged 12 creating early hip-hop african electronic music armed with organic sounds, love, synths, Ataris and Akai samplers. Had a studio eversince... Moved to L.A.at 18. bought a Lincoln continental V8 Mk IV (6500cc!) to drive around Hollywood working on Sunset Blvd in a studio alongside platinum producer Peter McCabe, Bone thugs and harmony and Jon Densmore (the Doors), sat with countless producers making teas and spliffs to learn how to make fat beats and raw bass sounds, wrote lots of lyrics skating, skate dancing with the madhead psychedelic locals and surfing on Venice Beach and started to play the Djembe as part of the sunday drum circle on the beach... In 1997, after spending time as an asistant engineer in a few Birmingham studios I moved to Manchester to study Acoustics, A/V Engineering and Electronics, discovered Roni Size, made lots of DnB, used love of dub and ragga to create ragga jungle, fell in love with the M-people that I thank for keeping my feet firmly on the ground and my head high...Started VJing in 1998 to complement the music. .. (Recently done some visuals for Talvin Singh on a giant sphere using two quad processor G5's!) .... .. Round about the same time I met a genius called Laide at uni during fresher's week I think. he turned out to be the most amazing multi-instrumentalist singing and mighty drumming master from Lagos, Nigeria who I made the best music with for a decade, most of it live, including singing together with Tony Allen (Fela Kuti's drummer..).. Later I sang in the JuJu Hookers, our early rock n roll band in Manchester with Tom Barnes and Jon Berry around year 2000. making mouth horn sounds touring around Europe into a megaphone as part of a brass section with a 10 piece samba band (The Umbrella), we wrote and performed a play on the road to Aurillac. A couple of years later, graduated and met this wkd guy from New York, which originated Bartley and the Tigon, a French/US hip-hop duet. Released our first single "180 Days" in 2002, now part of the EP "Vibrations" released 2006 (one song a year..!).. Played early gigs in 2001 and 2002 for Doodlebug (who revealed DJ Krush and DJ Shadow) and Wunderland alongside Phi Life Cypher, then started working on production with DJ Cleo from south Africa and the kwaito allstars of Bongo Maffin and Mavusani. ..Later more engaged singer/noisemaker of the infamous Simplicity Soundsystem, Hip-hop dubreggae offbeat roots samba with a Rock n Roll soul (gimme gimme sum lovin, one o'clock..) Then it all got seriously good, living for three years together with 3 houses of 8 Artists from around the world (bahaus stylee) in da mosslanian republic of Manchester, threw the biggest parties the town had seen, jamming for days in a living room with top musicians whilst surrounded by countless gizmos, recording studios blasting gabba and breaks non stop, weird psychedelic substances, fat soundsytems and crazy VJs...... .. Recently I've produced an album for the Kora player Jali Nyugoling Kuyateh from the Gambia and working hip-hop remixes of the latter.. Always independant from the Babylonian moneymaking music industry. They just make me wanna puke with their cocaine addictions and small minded attitudes. MySpace is all about recapturing the kids attention when they are not watching tv to help market products, a simple PR tool to help the failing music industry, with no soul and in limbs (see X-Factor and others, waste of time) you will find bands with a lot of "fake fans" and a lot of plastic artists hyped by record companies and PR so that kids buy their itunes and stupid ringtones and wallpapers, enter their mobile numbers onto their page (cf:Sean Paul) and consume. The corporate twats want an audience... My advice, use Creative Commons if you're an Artist (at least you're protected!) get the music you want, leave this space, take off to some sunny location, see you real friends in person, move out of the city, connect with nature. I hope you enjoy this page and don't mind me having a rant but I find this whole myspace thing so corrupt and full of commercial interests. Glastonbury 2007 was lacking good music and was altogether too damn commercial but some of you found the SoundBringer in person at GLASTONBURY!!!!!! .. playing a crazy LiveSet and a couple of DJ sets on the Saturday and Sunday nights in the EarthHeart Tent, probably the dryest place in the whole festival. Thanks a lot to the ever so friendly Glastonbury locals and Yorkshire madheads who supported me and kept me rocking during the festival. .... (..__/).. (='.'=)..
