Data Versus Data (pronounced Data Versus Data), henceforth "DVD," was formed in the first few calm months of 2007, coming together using studio space in the home of their unofficial "official" band friend. In this small and poorly lit room, DVD recorded their first ep, Touching Books EP, began fusing mutual loves of lo-fi and hi-fi, and helped put pants on a dog. When there were no dogs left to clothe, they moved into a larger studio space, in which they have continued to write and record.
Luke Lukas, purveyor of all things lo-fi, is DVD's lead vocalist, guitarist, key tickler, harmonica-izer, and often plays the drums when Brad T leaves the room. Before DVD, Luke Lukas primarily played solo, although he did collaborate with a friend to create and perform as the FroBots. Luke Lukas is a proud supporter of crispy rice.
Brad Thomason is DVD's drummer, keyboardist, sequencing and electronics guru, and does vocal work on the band’s recorded albums. If Luke Lukas is running late for practice, Brad will sometimes grab the mic and belt out a few songs, mostly for his own entertainment. Brad is also the creative director for DVD's promotional artwork and can hang a flyer straight as a board, without a level.
Chip Beyer, the bands bassist, was involved in several different musical groups over the years with Brad. After their band Mossmoon dissolved, Chip joined the military, and thus initiated his extreme punctuality and ability to make a bed with hospital corners. Chip can also be seen (and heard) playing keyboards and belting out vocals on some songs. Chip has a dog named Pilot, who is not an actual pilot.
Today, Data Versus Data spends their spare playing shows, recording their upcoming EP, Five Foot DeEP, perfecting their British accents, and helping each other move.

Frogwomen’s last album is just water under the bridge and only the disrespectful de large could encourage him to create a new one… it is a one-song record which symbolically lasts 66. 6 minutes.
Satan worshipping and overused topic in pop music is just the straw that allowed the struggle between the two artists to begin: a patchwork of microsongs in which each one of them tries to annihilate the other’s style, a record that ranges between love ditties, doom-noise cants, and irreverent & wild tarantellas (ehm.... maybe i’m overstating now). .
hi guys! bohemeo's is looking for musical talent to play this fall and winter seasons. If you all are interested in performing at a cool east end art house/coffee shop, email us at info@bohemeos.com!
superfreak - since i'm back in bari our favourite freak sings and dance like a demented monkey in this asymmetrical folk lo-fi album... if you like out of synch drums, out of tune guitars and hysterical vocals, you sure will love this.
alexander de large - nazi elvis a new chapter of de large's search of cosmic pessimism, all recorded in mono, as if to underline a certain sense of loneliness... cowpunk, gothfolk, steamcore, call it as you wish, he never gets pissed...
bread pitt - non fate allarme an album albout nasty topics like snails, pricks and explosions, an album about which the Murge was already proud before it was born, a mass of styles that's useless to enumerate...
