Right now: I'm jamming with 3 to 4 bands. Along with my old band Touchy Subjects, (Touchy Subjects 11-14-09 ~ You Can't Do That)
There's my 4 piece band of OBceans called the OB Rhythm Ranchers, (OB Rhythm Ranchers cover Wagon Wheel 10-15-09)
a 7 piece band of old pals and former band-mates called the Claire Monsters, (Claire Monsters ~ Round Our Town)
featuring Jack Laux, Randy Jones, Larry Kosta and at first, Scot Smith & Stive Hoskow, but now we have the amazing Tim Salas, Daniel Nielsen and Phil Freed. I'm also jamming in a very cool 6 piece 60's band called the West Coast Iron Works, featuring some of So Cal's top players including, Richie Heinz, John Chambers, George Nelms, Gary Maltby Jack Laux & sometimes Bob Mansueto. (Art Battson sits in with the West Coast Iron Works at the 2009 Coronado All Class Reunion)
Over the past 30 or so years I've had the pleasure and honor of jamming with some of the best players and greatest cats ever! We just won Best Rock Band and Best Artist at the Lifesworks Entertaiment Awards. We also were nominated for Best Alternative Rock Album by the SDMA. THe SDMA are on Sept 10 at Viejas!
