Dave Thompson is a 27 year old, folk/acoustic/americana/rock/worship, singer/songwriter from southern Oklahoma. His roots haven't always been so mellow, as he was once the lead singer/guitarist for a christian rock band called shade. His music has a raw and honest approach that comes from the eyes of a young man who grew up in church and saw both good and bad from the inside out. Since becoming the worship leader for Grace Christian Fellowship in Anadarko Oklahoma, Dave has found a new passion in writting songs for a roomful of people to worship along to. Aside from leading worship every sunday and wednesday, Dave also travels and performs/leads worship at churches, festivals, colleges, youth events, and other events nation wide. Dave has had the honor of sharing the stage with great artists such as switchfoot, skillet, december radio, pillar, shawn mcdonald, and many others. His most recent release "War Cry" is a 13 song worship album that will be released this June.
Dave Thompson is available to do solo acoustic sets as well as full band worship sets.
