Pictures from the recording session have been added to the photo gallery. .. .. David Troncoso - Bass .. .. David is a nationally renowned Latin Jazz musician. His passion for the standup bass and the electric bass led him to a distinguished career that continues with the recent release of his latin jazz cd "Meant to Be". In the early 70's, David toured and recorded with pop/jazz/classical pianist Peter Nero and has appeared on such national television venues as the Tonight Show. David has also performed as a studio musician for an ecletric array of artists from timbalist Willie Bobo, vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson, and Vocalist Debby Boone. He also worked with Claire Fischer, Carmen McCrae, The Lennon Sisters, Andy Russell, and Latin artists Celia Cruz and Cristal, Tito Puente, among others. He came to St. Louis Missouri from Los Angeles in 1992 and now has his own group playing original music around the town on a regular basis, and can also be heard on St. Louis' 1 radio station for Jazz 88.7 FM WSIE. .. .. The Dave Troncoso Quartet Can now be heard every Friday as a quartet and Saturday as a Trio at Porters Steak House. There will also be a special performance on Valentines Day.
