About David Bowers

»-(¯..v..¯)-» David Bowers began life as one of thousands of New York mulattos, but by age 5 found himself in the sagebrush farmlands of central Washington. Influenced not only by those farmlands, but also by some remnants of his coffee-hued culture, he learned to play all sorts of guitar music, and combined it with the talents of all sorts of people. He wrote songs about farms, love, death, women, and other subjects more vague and disturbing. A while back, he established a remote colony of self-reliant musicians in the central Oregon desert. These musicians pooled their skills for an album, which is slated for September release. In part due to the erratic nature of their leader, and in part due to a violent illness which swept through the Colony, the remote compound has been shut down, and colonists have returned to the city. The music will continue on in some form, as art cannot be stopped. «-(¯..v..¯)-« * tasty world, tasty future..... >
