The tragi-comic exploits of the infamous "Drunkest Guy Ever" turned into a silent film by the folks at Mustache and Monocle.  Half of me is disturbed on all sorts of levels at how far gone this guy must be, but the other half of me is in cry-laughing hysterics every time I watch this video.

    Happy Halloween Week!
  • Oct 21 2009 3:50 PM

I ran across this by chance while checking out the Halloween channel on my cable system's Music Choice block a couple years ago.

I was sure I'd never be able to find it anywhere for sale, being that it's an old K-Tel record from the early 90's, but when you're looking for something ludicrously obscure, you can always trust emusic.com:

    MUSIC OF THE VAMPIRES

Oh, glorious cheese!  Gothic synthesizers!  Lots of dialogue from old Dracula movies!  The track "Tears of Blood" even ends with the sound of poor old Dracula, crying pitifully in lament.  It makes me wonder if this is where Jason Segel got the idea from for his puppet vampire musical in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall".

Halloween's only a week and a half away!  Anybody got any spooky plans?

"When life itself seems lunatic, who knows where madness lies? To surrender dreams - -this may be madness; to seek treasure where there is only trash. Too much sanity may be madness! But maddest of all - -to see life as it is and not as it should be."

    - Miguel de Cervantes
