I probably heard Country music all the time when I was growing up but I never really got into it till around 1998, when I was 11. I started listening to artists like The Dixie Chicks, Shania Twain & The Mavericks. My interest grew when I got the internet and discovered artists like Alison Krauss and Clint Black, and reached Obsessed level when I discovered George Strait singing "Heartland".
Now I love all kinds of Country - Traditional, Bluegrass, Honky Tonk, Western Swing, Country-Pop and sometimes Country-Rock.
I've seen Alison Krauss & Union Station, Dierks Bentley, Jace Everett, Kenny Rogers, Willie Nelson, Gretchen Peters, Suzy Bogguss, Matraca Berg, Rosanne Cash, Julie Roberts, Dolly Parton, Kris Kristofferson, Glen Campbell, Ricky Skaggs, Kelly Clarkson and a lot of Scottish artists at Celtic Connections 2008. I even got to meet Julie & Gretchen aftewards and they were kind enough to sign autographs for everyone.

I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
