David plays the NS Series 5-string electric violin as his primary instrument. On occasion he also plays a Yamaha SV-120 electric and an acoustic made by David Rivinus. For intimate gigs he uses a Kustom Sienna 35 or Fender Blues Junior amp; when more wattage is needed he plays through a Fender Blues Deluxe. His sound modification equipment includes a Dunlop Cry Baby wah-wah pedal; a Danelectro EQ unit; a Boss DD-7 digital delay; a Dunlop DC-Brick power supply; an Electro-Harmonix Holier Grail digital reverb; and the latest addition, a Line 6 DL4 delay pedal/loop unit.
Hi David, sending you love for the Holidays. I wish you bountiful blessings in 2009, joy and creativity in the music and last but not least prosperity and many gigs. Hope to see you in 2009 and am so glad to have met you and your music this past year - truly one of the highlights of my year.
thanks so much, David, and likewise. I really enjoyed hearing your tunes. I grew up outside of L.A. and I remember spending a lot of time out at Vasquez rocks as a kid, you totally took me back there. Hope to see you around sometime, -Skye
