I must offer my sincere apologies for not attending your show last night. I just woke this morning to Charlie's message inviting me, and feel like a total boob. Yesterday some friends intercepted me as I walked home from work downtown, and lured me into an adolescent plot of buying 30 dollars of whiskey and getting hella drunk. My phone died as well. I'm sure if I had gotten Charlie's reminder I would have loved to have attended even more being as drunk as I was. Something was telling me and nagging me to just go home and charge my phone, and I know now that that was it. I am so sorry. And at the next opportunity, I will be at your show with bells on, AND I will buy ya'll a drink, like the old man I have become since we last saw each other. My behavior is unacceptable, and you owe me nothing in the arena of forgiveness. I will remain at your mercy until due time.
