Formed in Paris, Days Of Decline started in 2004. After an appearance noticed on a compilation of the webzine French Metal, next to bands such as Mindlag Project or Ascaris, the band decides to go back to the recording studio. Their first MCD of 5 titles entitled Le Premier Jour is then recorded and released in March 2006. In the mean time, the music video of Life In Suffering was made. The MCD was successful with both the press and the audience. In june 2006, Days Of Decline appear in the last sampler of Overcome Distribution (Blockheads, Deadsoil, Blind Sight, Apocalypse Now...). In 2007, an extract of the tracks "Trahison" appear on the DVD "Hellfest 2006".
Days Of Decline is defined as being brutal hardcore metal. The bands musical influences are HxC and the brutal-death accompanied by metal influenced by thrash, black and grind. The songs are intense and uncommonly brutal there are mixed mosh-parts, blasts-beats, rates/rhythms syncopes and unhealthy environments. To reinforce the lot, lyrics are howled by two singers with different intonations.
The several shows carried out in France, in Belgium, with bands like Terror (USA), Death Before Dishonor (USA), Ramallah (USA), Born From Pain (Neth), Arkangel (Belg), , Black My Heart (USA), l'Esprit Du Clan (Fr), Disturb (Fr), Orakle (Fr) and Blockheads(Fr) provide the band stage experience.
In november 2007, Days Of Decline release two free download tracks "Larme Blanche" and "Offensé".
After several years of brutality, Days Of Decline stop his activities in 2008.

Formé en région parisienne (Yvelines), Days Of Decline a vu le jour en 2004. Après une apparition remarquée sur la compilation du webzine "French Métal", aux côtés de groupes tels que Mindlag Project ou Ascaris, le groupe décide de retourner en studio. Leur premier MCD de 5 titres intitulé Le Premier Jour est alors enregistré et sort en mars 2006. Par la même occasion, le clip du titre Life In Suffering est tourné. En juin 2006 Days Of Decline apparaît sur le dernier fameux sampler d'Overcome Distribution auprès de Blockheads, Deadsoil, Blind Sight, Apocalypse Now ... En 2007 un extrait du titre "Trahison" apparaît sur le DVD du Hellfest 2006.
Days Of Decline possède un line-up solide comprenant un membre de Playing With Fragments et un ex-membre de Strike Back. Leur style est défini comme du Brutal Hardcore Métal. En effet, les compositions du groupe se situent entre le Hardcore et le Brutal-Death, accompagnés d’un metal influencé par le Thrash et le Grind. Les morceaux sont d’une intensité et d’une rare brutalité où se mêlent mosh-parts, blasts-beats, rythmes syncopés et ambiances malsaines. Pour renforcer le tout, les lyrics sont hurlés par deux chanteurs aux intonations différentes.
Enfin, leurs prestations scéniques, très remarquées, se sont faites aux côtés de groupes tels que Terror (USA), Arkangel (Belg), Death Before Dishonor (USA), Born From Pain (Holl), Disturb (Fr), Orakle (Fr), L’Esprit Du Clan (Fr), Black My Heart (USA), Ramallah (USA), Blockheads (Fr) (…) en France et en Belgique.
En novembre 2007, Days Of Decline sort deux titres promotionnels entièrement téléchargeables "Larmes blanches" et "Offensé".
Après plusieurs années de brutalité sonore, Days of decline se sépare en 2008.
