The poor unfortunate souls that are currently keeping the Death Machine oiled and running are:
Dane G. Russ
Barton's Vodka
Pabst Blue Ribbon
Camel Time Cigarettes
Cheap Canadian Whiskey
Dane and the Death Machine is a living entity that I have no control over. It is symbiotic with myself and the humans that get in the way of it's path usually tend to leave pretty quickly. However, I have been lucky to have them...here are the names of anyone who has ever contributed to this music:
Dane G Russ -Writes the music, sings, and lately has been recording every instrument himself due to a lack of musicianship.
Aye Lee Dee - One of Danes Greatest inspiration and all time loves. She is a beautifuly artistic soul and designed the cover for When Amonia Meets Bleech (Now available for purchase on I-tunes). She also wrote the monologue at the end of "inside me".
Tom Kamnikar - Tom Rocked the Bass for Dane and the Death Machine during the period that the "Hear no evil, Speak no evil, Fear no evil" EP was recorded. His drive and Charisma make him one of the strongest players in Dane and the Death machine of all time.
James Fear - Jim Fear established himself as an idol to Dane for the work he did with the band, I Am The Ocean, on their album, "...And your city needs swallowing". He was able to write some amazing guitar parts for a handful of shows with DDM. His departure from the project lead to prozac sales to sky rocket around the world.
"Rockin" Ryan Jones - Aside from being extremely sexy (and oh, that hair) Ryan has kicked the ass of hundreds of fans across the Salt Lake Valley with his mind blowing guitar licks. He also has only played a handful of shows with DDM. He also has melted faces in bands like, I Am This Body, Dear Stranger, and Paxtin...just to name a few
Andy B. - A rocket sauce drummer for Dane and the Death Machine...but when his love child band cried out to him...he just had to quit.
Andrew Allred - Andrew briefly rocked out with the Death Machine, and performed an acoustic three piece show with Dane and Tom at Kilby Court.
Wesley Deuren - One of the most consistant members...The time that Wesley spent with DDM is highly regarded by any long term fan to be the best era of the project. The musical chemistry was purely amazing both in the recordings and (especially) the live shows.
Brett Nelson- The first real musician that has ever made a connection with Dane. The two of them founded the band Half-Step with drummer, Alec Townsend. He has performed with the Death Machine on multiple occasions, and hopefully will find the time to perform with it again one day.
Alec Townsend- He was only sixteen when he started drumming for Half-Step. He brought Wesley and Dane together for the first time. He started drumming for Dane and the Death Machine at 19, after leaving for a year, he is again rocking for the Death Machine.
Kamyar Ghassemy - A brilliant hip hop artist who lent his talents of the bass to this project on many an occasion. He is also like a brother to Dane, and will hopefully have many more opportunities to play with the Death Machine in the future.
The West - An amazing solo musician (turned front man of Long Beach's most KICK ASS band!) and one of Danes close friends. He has contributed endlessly to the Machine in the year 2005 in both performing and recording on albums. He was also cool enough to let Dane throw down some bass tracks on his first album, "HOLD COLD HANDS" (out now Click here to check out his nerosis)
Amytronikkk - This girl is crazy cool. She wrote all of the lyrics and performed vocals for "Ibrokeupwithmydrugstoday". And literally, you fuck with her, you fuck with everyone on this list, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Danny Gast - the original drummer for I am Alpha (an experimental instrumental anti-robot explosion) and the first ever drummer for DDM...he broke up with us after we got too soft and started to focus more on Dane and the Death Machine.
Evan - don't know his last name...but he came in and replaced Danny for a while. Then Dane decided he hated bands and broke the whole thing up. He started at the wrong time.
Chad Taylor - Hands down the most brilliant guitar player in America. I've been fortunate enough to watch him play for the last seven years of my life, and have him play with the machine from time to time. You can catch him now in the band, BONK!
Craig Secrist - The most intense visual artist of our life time and nobody even knows it. He has designed multiple images and lent them to this Machine. One day I hope the world will worship him as they should.
Snap Point Productions - Andrew and troy are brilliant film makers and improv comedians (as Toysoup). They were awesome enough to shoot the music video for, "The Great Manipulator" for nothing more than the gratification someone gets from helping out some friends. These guys are too cool. You can check them out on youtube!
Irazu Hilario - The first official photographer of the Death Machine. Due to complications of life she can no longer work with us, but any long term fan has enjoyed countless photos of us from her.
Higharchy Inkorporated - Jared and Cory are totally awesome guys, and as our sponsors for a little over a year, we partied the shit out of every bar we ever even looked at, and everyone left deaf and happy. Check out some of their videos on youtube.
Oaktopus Entertainment - A bunch of totally awesome people who decided that the best soundtrack for their movie, "Elephant Graveyard" would be Dane and the Death Machine! I can't say I can argue with that. They asked my permission, and of course I said yes because that is just so rad I can't even handle it. By the way, it was super nice of them to ask my permission, THANKS GUYS!
Brandon Hays - Dane's step brother. He recorded the first ever Dane and the Death Machine recordings after Half-Step broke up. They were just stupid little songs recorded in a basement and a bedroom, but for some reason people thought they were good so Dane recorded Thanatron.
Chris Hussey - Recorded THanatron for Dane out of the kindness of his heart. We basically hung out in his studio, smoked bowls, ate candy, and every once in a while recorded a song. It never got finished due to some strange falling out.
Influences
Destruction and creation, ugliness and beauty, pleasure and pain, sobriety and intoxication, right and wrong, good and bad, sex and money, mercy and brutality, family values and perversions, salvation and damnation, life and death, war and peace, intelligence and stupidity, agility and clumsiness, belief and nihlism, God and the Devil, Black and White...and all of the grey areas inbetween.

I am a con-artist posing as a musician. Now, cut me a check...
Check out the Great Manipulator Music Video. It was filmed by Snap Point Productions in Salt Lake City Utah. Edited by DDM's very own Tom "The Devil" Kamnikar. For some reason, www.ourstage.com and Myspace do not want to seem to co-operate, so I am just going to post a link to it. It will be a very big link....no, seriously, look how big it is:

We are an abstract entity fixated on changing your world for the worse.
We are an extinct race and your perception needs to be awakened to the reality of the ghosts of the past.
We need to see each other for what we are, cannaballistic monsters.
We need to make peace with ourselves, for time will not heal the wounds, only make them more appealing.
We have been afflicted for years, waiting for the moment to rise up and strike.
Our music is the culmination of the sounds that keep you up at night and lead you to hide under the sheats.
We are Dane and The Death Machine.
We are here to bring an end to what you know!
